Awesome movie.Nice story. The ending was sad and good.Nice direction by Mr Suri.Nicely produced by Bhatts and Gulsan,Busan and Krisan Kumar.Nice screenplay.Nice editing. And Beautiful and nice songs.I loved all the songs.Nice music by Mithoon,Ankit Tiwari and Jeet Gaanguli.Nice dialouges. But the acting by Shraddha Kapoor was OK not too good not too bad and Aditya Roy kapoor acted OK.I gave it a 8 stars only because of Mohit Suri, it's story and especially songs.Overall watch this epic romantic movie for its lovely songs, direction and story.A must watch for romantic movie lovers.

It's a movie where it explains that somewhere love can make your life way beautiful more reasonable and yup gives you reasons to live again or start another day...but sometimes we become really selfish that we don't even think about the person who loves us ..... and sometimes we think are not worthy of someone but that's wrong if someone accepts you with flaws then why wait... why can't we put aside those bad habits and just live for them.... The ending of this film was truly heart breaking and beside the whole film was wonderful and different ....just be ready with some tissues and watch it with your partner because after the ending u probably need someone who can hold on to u ........

I didn't see the first Aashiqui, now if that disqualifies me to review this movie I beg to differ as I saw this this movie with an open heart and mind. The movie starts off with a turmoil that leaves a promising singer in a distressful situation. But then lady luck shines on him in the form of a lady :) and then whatever happens to him becomes a matter of time and script ;) But if I try to look into the entire picture as a whole, then I would say that it's really something which not only musically mesmerizing but also touches your heart with a different tune. Similarities with old movies have though has come up but what I really focus upon is the presentation which makes a lot of difference. Remake is merely an assistance whereas rebuilding upon the previous platform is creation and that is definitely in this movie for sure. A happy ending is what everyone wants but portraying an unfamiliar ending is always challenging. In that department I feel that the director has done a commendable job. This movie not only conveys a musical and romantic treat in its flow but also delivers a subtle message about what can be the ultimate effects of uncontrolled drinking habits. In acting department I highly appreciate Aditya's acting throughout and Shraddhas's acting as a dedicated lover of her life's idol person. I really couldn't find many flaws as the music made me forget them if there were any. Thanks for this replenished and rejuvenated musical treat!! 8/10

Greetings to you all. Aashiqui 2 is a story of love about a former singing sensation, now 'an aimless and troubled alcoholic', when he bumps into a small time singer in a bar, Arohi Shikre. At that moment he finds a purpose in life, to turn her into a rising star. The movie has a decent plot. The chemistry in between the characters build well. But the weak direction, loopholes in the script and weak dialogues make this movie excruciatingly painful to watch. However, the songs are excellent. Rahul and Arohi are made for each other, which can be synced with the films successful soundtrack 'tum hi ho'.The lead actress delivers a good performance, whereas the lead actor looks mostly stone faced. He has delivered some emotional scenes excellently, but could not portray a drunken guy neatly, maybe the director did not use his skills right. On the whole, the countless flaws and weak direction make this movie just an average flick, otherwise a decent watch.
