I am so regretted of wasting my time with this stupid movie. when I saw Liam playing I was very optimist that this movie will be great to watch. totally disappointing!!

The director gave us some obvious clues but they were very quick. Deacon is a serial killer and she was not dead. Deacon's car was behind her car before the accident. He caused her accident in the first place, and he knew her from the funeral. This was repeated again with Paul's accident. Remember what the kid advised Paul just before the accident: not to forget fasten his seat-belt. This movie is about a serial killer. Deacon knew his victims very well. Another clue is about the color of the flower he choose for every victim. Last clue is Deacon's collection of pictures of his victims. It is typical serial killer behavior to keep something from his victims.

Anna, played by Christina Ricci, wakes up in the mortuary of the local funeral director, Liam Neeson. He tells her she's dead and he's preparing her body for her burial. What follows is thought-provoking and almost unbearably macabre. The actors were amazing, even Justin Long, and the directing stylish with a very distinctive look.This movie is not for everyone. People will either love it, or despise it with all their heart. But I'd recommend it to anyone who has a taste for dark humor and enjoys putting the pieces of the puzzle together over and over, long after the movie's ended. That said the movie never had a chance commercially. Combine the fact that most people are just going to find it unbearably weird with the fact that the ending is not tied up in a neat bow, and it's clear that this movie will stay underground. However, if you're looking for a beautiful experience with a unique film, After.Life is just about as good as it gets.

This was a mystery definitely.Anna dies in a car accident, it proves she caused the accident with her cell phone and chaotic emotions behind the wheel. While we did see his van that doesn't prove he killed her as it was a small town.She struggled with life and struggled with her death. How come every chance she could get away she never did.She had 3 days at the morgue with the mortician who was clarvioant and wanted to help her pass over.I saw he hd compassion in him yet was crazy. Notice the dead lady in the morgue who told her your not ready and when she walked outside on her last night there was a death sience.She couldn't leave. How could he prove in 3 days she was dead. Also maybe that stuff he injected kept the body from decomposing. Originally, I thought she was Alive but intil the signs especially the mirror and ghostly call to her boyfriend.So many signs. Also,I mean how could he manage to drive another, her boyfriend to death. Remember elliot told him after the wake ..hurry you don't have much time. He knew he was going to die because he's special (clairvoyant ). Yet..again crazy. A truly interesting movie.I cam to the conclusion the movie started out with her really being alive and he was trying to convince her she's dead but the director or actors started to see another side which became the mystery of whether she was dead or alive.
