matty_lavelle Battle of Los Angeles, were do i begin. Well i will start with what i felt after i watched it. I didn't speak to anybody for 5 hours i just sat in my room wondering is it possible for a film to be made this bad? I can not believe how terrible a film can be! did the 'makers' of this film do this as a competition on how bad can we make something? The 'plot' on this website says years ago a flying object was seen is Los Angeles now 70 years later it has returned. Yep that is it there is absolutely no plot at all, its just fascinatingly bad i thought that getting shot or stabbed or getting pulled limb from limb would be the worst thing ever but this beats all of them! I have seen some plot less garbage in my time but this does not only have a terrible plot but:terrible acting, terrible 'special' effects terrible physics (meaning a women can jump of a building and stab a metal spaceship and blow it up) AND they use toy guns for guns!!! Nerf dart guns to be precise. The makers may argue 'we cant have the best special effects for a low budget film' well here is a solution don't make a 'sci-fy thriller' if you have a low budget. This film beats every other bad film by a marathon it is not the worst film ever it is the worst piece of media ever, to be rivaled by none. normally with bad films i turn them off after 30 minutes but i had to watch this to the end because of just how bad it was. This film is kind of like the holocaust it is saying this is bad and it must never happen again.SHOCKING WOULD RATHER DRINK CYANIDE THEN WATCH IT AGAIN
Lech Dharma Because this movie could not hold my full attention, I may have blinked a little too often and missed a few things: like a coherent plot, character development, the reason one of the main characters was dressed the ridiculous way she was (and carries a Japanese sword instead of a gun)etc. It is my impression that the director must have owed some favors (or had a "diversity" agenda), because there was an inordinate percentage of female fighter pilots; and after the first 45 minutes of this movie, NONE of the remaining military characters were white males. This was the first review I've ever written for IMDb; but I felt compelled to warn prospective viewers. The only other feature-length movie I've ever seen that was lamer than this one was "Attack Force" with Steven Seagal.
teodoreh-347-416161 The weakest thing in the movie is the execution and the special effects. I mean when you present for such a long periods of time some women-pilots (looking more of a model rather than a military crew) flying F-16s like they were C-130s, and when people shoot with M16s and the sound and visual effects look like a paint-ball gun, then there's surely something very wrong in the production. The plot tries to deliver some sci-fi excitement, but it's so weak and silly and can't really save the day. Acting is not bad on some cases, but again, there's total lack of logic on the emotions, it's like Mortal Kombat II, in one scene you fight to death, next scene you walk on the road like nothing happened. Terrible terrible movie.
michael-d-mccarthy I managed to sit through about 20 minutes of this total garbage. Fortunately, it was on TV, so I hadn't spent money on it - though it was so bad I actually object to the waste of electricity... Dire acting, amateurish CGI attempts, virtually no plot or characterisation. What a turkey... How on earth anyone could release this for general screening is totally beyond me, and the fact that it even made it to the cinema is quite unbelievable. Who on earth put up the money for this?... And then saw it through all the way to release? Surely at some point along the way someone in authority should have seen how dire it all was, and called a halt just for the sake of wasting no more money. It doesn't even get into the category - 'so bad it became funny'. Just plain awful...
