I knew what kind of movie I was gonna get, and I'm very sorry for all the people, mainly Romanian, who tried do to a film of professional quality. It is professionally done, good picture quality, great explosions, great sound, and 3d techniques.Stunts may not always be on top, but to make a stunt look good, the director has to cut it right, which hasn't always been successfully done, which leaves sometimes a slight feeling of ridicule.Whoever wrote the text the actors had to give, was ... not inspired, at all, and the actors clearly missed the point of what they had to say, no right intonation, even Mickey Rourke went down. Even some rare good quotes come out flat.A lot of scenes come with a lot of different angles and 3D special effects (which are the real positive aspects), but they are used for no purpose, there are no differences in intensity in the scenes, they just run by flat as the lyrics.Most disappointing is the lack of any kind of humor, even in real life there happens to be a joke, none here, and that is the main issue. The story takes itself seriously, what a shame, and what a difference to the Rodrigues/Tarantino, filled with references, which a lacking here too. Their crescendo directing of scenes to deliver us a mind blowing enjoyment is completely missing in this movie.Would I watch it again, probably not, or else for the only reason I managed to watch it to the end (in two trials) : just as a bad example to admire what it takes to make a Django Unchained or a Sin City

Dead in Tombstone (yes that Tombstone, as in OK Corral) has Mickey Rourke, Danny Trejo, Dina Meyer, and Anthony Michael Hall; so someone might be tempted to watch it because of them but just swallow that temptation and don't. I'm guessing they agreed to this in lieu of paying gambling debts. They put about as much effort into "Tombstone" as they might asking for a donut. Except Danny Trejo who is all in, probably because this movie gives him more dialog than all his other movies combined and you'll soon figure out why those other movies were right and this one is wrong. If you are really curious what it is about, Danny Trejo leads a group of outlaws that double cross him for gold. (the real Tombstone had a silver mine, not gold, but whatever) Mickey Rourke plays Satan and gets a lot of bad lines which he delivers with mild boredom. A.M. Hall is the "bad" bad guy. Dina Meyer is the sheriff's wife. About the only notable thing about D.i.T. is that bodies just disappear from the shot moments after people are killed, it's so obvious it's bizarre. There is no reason as far as I could tell other than sloppy movie making.

Red Cavanaugh is about to be hung, but the rest of the Blackwater Gang rescue him. Red sells them a plan to liberate some gold. His half-brother and co-leader of the gang, Guerraro, agrees as long as they make it a quick and relatively clean operation.Once the plan is in motion, though, Red bloodies the town and kills his brother, as well as the sheriff. Red takes over the town with the remaining Blackwater Gang as his fellow enforcers. He joins forces with an English business man to keep a choke hold on the town and the mining of the gold.Meanwhile, Guerrero has a long chat with Lucifer, and strikes a deal with him. If Guerrero can snuff his old gang, Lucifer will restore him to life above ground.The bloodletting increases. One might expect that, given the cast and the setup of the screenplay.Does Guerrero re-gain his life, or does Red foul up his plans again?-----Scores-----Cinematography: 7/10 Nicely atmospheric, but had some terrible hand-held moments.Sound: 6/10 I could hear the dialog, which was fine, but the sound did not add much to the mood of the piece.Acting: 8/10 I liked the four principal actors in this property.Screenplay: 4/10 This video would have been better at 75 minutes rather than 99. The script was a bit short on ideas, and long on torture, murder, forced labor, revenge, and betrayals.

Dead on Arrival, this DTV Movie is just Awful. Once again They hire an Epileptic Cameraman that is in Denial. The Vision is that anything is not worthy of being On Screen unless it is a Shaky Whip-Pan and Quick Cut. This results in Motion Sickness. Please, Hollywood take notice. Stop this Immediately. It does not and never has been anything but annoying. But yet it is used again and again even in Mega-Budget Action Movies. Listen Up from Outside the Bubble. It is not energetic or adrenaline inducing, it is Nauseating.This Movie suffers from much more than that. Mickey Rourke's Dialog seems Dubbed by a Line Reader with absolutely no Ability to do anything except Read Lines. The Intriguing Premise is totally Mishandled in what could have been an Exciting Genre Bending Movie.It is a Colorless Palette with nothing but Blacks and Bluish High Contrast. The whole Thing looks like a Video Game that Flopped. There is nothing here to Recommend and Fans of the Cult Favorite, Danny Trejo will check in only to find that this is nothing more than a commendable effort lost in a Wilderness of Woefulness.
