Rjan Lutero I am actually a fan of Descendants 1 & 2 because i really love musical movies and after the high school musical they actually made another amazing work. First lets go to the characters, I believe the characters are a perfect cast to this movies and seeing from the movie they put all their hearts out making this movie very entertaining and memorable to the viewers. Second the story, it is so original and fun that the sons and daughters of the prince and princess are actually reunited in a movie with their twist of love and friendships. Lastly the music, I was stunned and always waiting for the parts where they will sing but of course every part is good and will never give you snooze. All of the songs I really enjoyed it! it will stuck in your mind and always wanting to hear their songs which always made me happy and energetic all the way. Keep up the good work Disney and I really do hope that they will make another Descendants.Overall: 10/10
cara99-325-253464 I love it was a great squeal to a great movie it was fast passed it never got boring the choreography was amazing the final scene of them dancing in the water was so beautiful and singing and rapping was amazing loved every song the cast has amazing voices and the sets and outfits were so detailed and unique the acting was great they were so good at portraying emotion and the visual effects were good except for the fireworks.
CaraMSchec So I'll start by saying that I love love love the first Descendants movie. The first DCOM I've really loved sense Zenon. And just like Zenon, the sequel was what it was. Like so many sequels it just can't be as good as the first one. (But generally the 3rd is worth the wait.)The Good: I liked seeing all my favorite Descendants again. Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay all seem to be moving on with their lives in their new home.Jane and Lonnie get to be bigger parts of the show, while you don't have to deal with Audrey at all.We get some fun new songs and dance numbers. Watching pirates dance will never get old for me.The Bad: The CGI. Okay, I get it, it's the thing to do now, like on Once Upon a Time. Why make sets when you can just put them in digitally? The answer is because if they look digital they look dumb.Auto-Tune. Don't use it if you don't have to. We heard most of these kids sing in the first movie and know they can, so why ruin their voices? So that being said, I got what I expected. A bit of a cliché story-line with some favorite characters. Again, else would you expect from a Disney sequel?
ahenderson-45780 Contains mild spoilers....I wanted to say that I love this movie series and the animated shorts that partner with it. This movie was awesome, though I will say it had a couple low points for me, one of them being the final "battle" between Uma and Mal. The CGI wasn't where it should have been but the the ending number was pretty good. Another low for me was anything with Chad, out of all the characters ever done as a part of this series, Chad was the one character that no matter what I could do without. He should've been on the trip with Audrey, who wasn't in this movie. I also wanted to say that I know a lot of people have left bad reviews and I think that it's worth giving a chance. It is not like a lot of the other DCOM movies, which I have to say have gone downhill over the years, but this is one series that stands out and brings the imagination of DCOM movies of old. 😊 Two musical numbers stand out the most and have gotten stuck in my head in the past week and those are "ways to be wicked" and "what's my name?" I can't even explain how happy I was when Mal went back to all purple for her hair color. That's one thing that I love about the hair and make-up in these movies, they aren't afraid to have their characters having unnatural hair colors. I know blonde is the color that Dove Cameron has on a regular basis but the purple is much more wicked. Not to mention, Uma's hair was amazing. New character Dizzy brought a creative streak to the film that started with Evie but Dizzy is a force to be reckoned with. Lanie is awesome!!! She is so much like her mother in this movie, for those of you who don't know, her mother's Mulan. I loved her in the first movie and wished she had more screen time and in this movie that wish came true. The way she tries to make it into the team and struggles against the sexist views of a few....mainly Chad... And how she joins in the pirate fight was awesome. Her mother taught her well. I am so glad this movie came out the way it did, except for a couple things, and I hope that they continue the series. Though with the closing line of Uma there's a good chance they will, or at least plan to.
