jca-ninedragon Stephan King obviously knew what he was doing when he asked this guy to direct the film adaptation of his story Night Flyer. Drag is an awesome horror flick. The sepia tone look is creepy and works perfectly to give it a disturbing tone. Love that this is a Zombie family drama too and that it has a sexy tough woman kicking butt. Also, the Zombie actors are really, really good. I'm looking forward to more Mark Pavia movies and know that they are coming since he has been put on the board of directors at the new horror channel. I'm glad the horror film community has embraced this talented writer/director. A feature version of Drag would be great, hint hint!
grahamkaye99 Amazing and I can't believe it was only made on a $17,000 budget. If someone were smart they would make a feature version of this movie. Mark Pavia's style is obviously very versatile if you compare "DRAG" to the movie that he wrote and directed for Stephen King "THE NIGHT FLIER" you can see the range of his vision. "The Night Flier" was obviously made as a commercial Stephen King movie. But "DRAG" shows Pavia's clear vision and ability to contrast and change his visual styles with the different material he's writing/directing. I understand hes doing the sequel to "The Night Flier", which he co-wrote with Stpehen King which is amazing because Stephen King as far as I know has never collaborated with anyone on writing a film.
jeff-230 I saw this film years ago and it's stayed with me. I saw it again recently and had to comment on it. DRAG is well done across the board. The directing, acting and cinematography are top notch. It grabs you from the opening frame and doesn't let go until the harrowing final shot.Mark Pavia does a great job in creating a constant sense of dread and fear. He has a strong voice and knows how to film horror. With DRAG, he succeeded in creating a short that's more terrifying that most of the zombie features I've seen. I hope to see more of his work. Definite recommend.
