Hornsmith Actors occasionally say that they don't watch their own films; here, I would understand why, as there are some very good actors (Aubrey, Gemmell, Schofield) in this nasty piece of work, who've done much better than this. If you like bringing up your most recent meal, this is for you (I didn't, but it has the potential). The only thing worthy of compliment is the achievement of a finished film on the rumoured £150,000, so it no doubt profited well. You will probably find this on late night TV horror channels, as I did (never again). Possibly the worst thing I found about this, is the (SPOILER ALERT!!!) level of sickening, psychopathic violence performed, naturally, on several women- this is 'school of misogyny' without a doubt.I wonder about the mindset and motivation of the original writer(s) who dreamed up the story line, particularly the gratuitously sick attacks on female characters.
M MALIK Seriously just what is wrong with critics & people these days this movie is a underrated gem quite possibly best of year 2010.I have seen plenty of films like this i do enjoy ones where hero wins but my love for bad guys never ends specially in movies where bad guys never get caught or have no motive. To those who do not understand this type of films my advice to them is either stay away from the genre or do watch some world cinema films for example of Roman Polanski etc where ending is confusing or abrupt leaving the viewer wanting more this is where these filmmakers surpass big budget lame Hollywood projects. The Plot:a school teacher Robert is having problems with students who do not respect him one of them hits him in the nose instead the student the teacher gets suspended for months he starts drinking & gets separated from his wife but his daughter also studies in the same school, one day late evening things go wrong when a lot of Hoody jacket wearing guys starts murdering everyone in the school including the staff Robert knows something is not right he tries to find his daughter Kate. The most amazing thing in this film was those guys in the hood don't have any face i was like wow it could be possible that some aliens were inside those, this was a nice touch by the director not revealing them so people would keep guessing on top of that the load of suspense is kept high.It could have been a near flawless movie but it have some issues overdone like Robert hitting his daughter Kate in the face not realizing he is the school not his home.I checked this out only because of Roxanne McKee as i am a fan would have loved to see more of her but she gets killed & gets very limited screen time. The Cast:it is David Schofield show from start to finish the guy is a scene stealer, but who can forget Eliza Bennett she looks absolute stunning here. The title of the film is initial or alphabet F but the expelled sounds much better this title fits the story perfectly because it is very likely that those murderers were school kids who got failed, its just a theory.Overall F a.k.a The Expelled 2010 is a good film so check it out my rating is 6/10.Recommended
sterlingmgi This movie is definitely one of the worst movies I have ever seen. There is no plot, summary, etc. If you would like to waste your time, by all means, go ahead and watch. Trash. Terrible. Awful. This is terrible. Disgusting I can not believe I wasted so much time of my life.. How will I tell this story to my children? I will never recommend this movie to anyone! Please don't tell anyone not to shout when you know good and well this is crapo. Thank you and God Bless. This movie is definitely one of the worst movies I have ever seen. BA_Harrison I know that there is no golden rule saying that all characters in a scary film must be likable, but I think that it really helps one's overall enjoyment of a horror if there are at least a few people to identify with or root for; similarly, there's nothing to say that indiscriminate on-screen carnage needs to be justified, but it's quite nice to be given a motive for such behaviour.F, from director Johannes Roberts, features almost no-one worth caring about and offers little explanation for its random killings, making it a very frustrating watch—a shame, because the basic set up has plenty of potential and Roberts shows a lot of promise with his handling of the visuals, making great use of his surprisingly creepy setting, a secondary school after hours.Things go wrong almost immediately with the introduction of the film's central character, teacher Robert Anderson (David Schofield), who loses the viewer's sympathy with his insensitive and very unprofessional classroom manner, belittling his less able students in front of the whole class (and quite deservedly getting a head-butt for his troubles). We then get to meet Anderson's bitchy superior Sarah (Ruth Gemmell), his wayward daughter Kate (Eliza Bennett) and her douche of a boyfriend Jake (Max Fowler), and the world's most useless security guard, James (Finlay Robertson). So many horrible people in one building...The killers in this film—faceless 'hoodies' who understandably have issues with Anderson, but who for some reason also vent their rage on less deserving members of staff and their own peers—prowl the corridors of the school like wild animals, quite literally at times, silently scaling furniture and shelving to pounce on their quarry; I understand that Roberts wanted his killers to appear predatory, but he takes it just a bit too far—I've seen ninjas less stealthy than these kids. It's all a bit hard to take seriously at times. The dark locale does allow for quite a bit of tension, the odd shock, and some occasional gore, with the death of F's only really amiable character, hot teacher Nicky (Roxanne McKee), being particularly nasty, but as a whole it is a very flawed film, the inconclusive and unsatisfying ending being the final straw.
