The major sub-plot circles around the youngest Griffin, Stewie, who has a near-death experience at a pool when a lifeguard chair falls on him, but he survives. After having a vision of being in Hell, he decides to change his ways, but this doesn't last long. While watching television, he and Brian spot a man that looks like Stewie. Brian is convinced that he is Stewie's real father, until Stewie learns that the man is actually himself as an adult, taking a vacation from his own time period. Baby Stewie visits thirty years later to discover that his adult self, going by the name Stu, is a single blue-collar middle-aged virgin working at a Circuit City-type store. Meanwhile, Peter and Lois are trying to teach their two older kids, Meg and Chris, to date. In the future, Chris, who hasn't changed much, is working as a cop and is married to a foul-mouthed hustler named Vanessa. Meg is now called Ron, since she had a sex-change after college.

Reviews

Taylor Kingston I love this movie. Even though it is technically three episodes in a row. I love it so much and it is one of my favorite things to do with Family Guy. If it were an episode, it would probably be one of my all-time favorites. In this feature-length episode, Stewie tries to kill a little boy by blowing him up with a bomb. But after being hurt himself, he goes to Hell and realizes what a terrible place it really is. He is determined to be a good bye so he'll never have to go back there. When he sees a man on the television who looks remarkably like him, he thinks it has to be his biological father. He travels to San Francisco to meet the man face-to-face. It turns out that the man isn't his father, it's him from the future. Thirty-five years in the future people take vacations to periods of time, not to destinations. When older Stewie goes to go back, young Stewie hops on and goes for a ride. Stewie is disappointed to see no monuments or statues dedicated to him. He thought he would've taken over the world by now. Older Stewie reveals that he abandoned his plans for world domination years ago. And that he is a normal guy. When it's revealed that he's a thirty-five year old virgin, Stewie is determined to get him laid. We see the Griffin family in their older ages. Chris is a police officer who is married to a horrible woman. He's so funny. He lists all of the laws that Lois has broken and says he won't write her up as long as she gives him a cookie. And he yells the word, cookie. It's so funny. Peter and Lois are pretty much the same, just older. And Meg is now a man. Ron is his new name.Overall, I give this movie, that's technically a long episode, 10 out of 10.
samcracc I have that movie and it is so funny. The first part in the movie is very funny. The Kool Aid guy is funny with Drew Barrymore, Cleveland Brown, and the Greased Up Deaf Guy. This movie is about a untold story of Stewie himself in the future where he sees Stewie as a grown up. So the Griffen's went to a pool. Peter Griffen knew that there was a new store in Quahog. So Peter Griffen thinks of a very good TV show with the channel 5 Action News station. His show will be (Do You Know What Grinds Your Gears). So then Tom Tucker got fired. Stewie stops drinking and then gets drunk. So then Brian takes Stewie to the Drunken Clam to get him more drunk. Just then the car was crashed into the Drunken Clam when they got drunk. So the Channel 5 News was on to tell the story what has happen. Then another show of What Really Grinds My Gears the last part and then gets fired then says F word and sensors it. This movie is funny you will like Peter Griffen's funny show even more.
dudeguy530 I just saw the Family Guy movie and it was Better then i thought it would be. Just Like an episode of the show so if your not a fan you may not like this movie. I thought this movie was entertaining and had some pretty funny jokes, but were the movie screws up is on the story line. if you were to judge this film Solly on its plot and story line then it was suck. Due to the fact that as the movie go's on some characters are just throw away characters like Peter. During the first half of the film Peter is like the most important character but then later in the film is basically forgotten and from there on says a couple of jokes.I chose to judge the film not as one whole movie but as there different episodes, it makes more sense to do it that way to me. That way Plot lines and characters are not changed and forgotten. But over all Family guy the Movie was Entertaining Based on its material and its plot if it were to be thought as three different parts.Check it Out!
bob the moo Having seen hell, Stewie decides to be nice but it is not long before the façade crumbles and instead he decides to spend his days drunk. Brian attempts to teach him a lesson but only succeeds in losing Peter his "normal guy complaining about trivial issues" job on the local cable station. Meanwhile Lois bemoans her lack of privacy and tries to get their kids into the opposite sex to get them out of the house more often. Distracted, they don't spot that Stewie and Brian have joined Quagmire's Cross "Cuntry" trip in a quest to find Stewie's real father. As a fan of the series I tuned in to the film hoping for it to be the quality of the series. After a slow start I twigged that this was really three episodes woven together with some supporting material which, as someone who enjoys the series shouldn't have been a problem. All the best bits of the series are there in the target-audience film and cultural reference (the two Star Wars ones were my favourite) as well as imaginative crudity. I laughed out loud several times even though the actual plot was consistently pretty weak across the whole film. This is a valid criticism because of the length of the film. With the episodes the asides ("like the time I") come thick and fast and easily cover the plot to the point where nobody watches for the stories, just the laughs. However with the film the hits are spread a bit thinner and as a result it does occasionally feel a bit baggy (giggly) and I remember sometimes waiting for the next laugh. So I agree with those fans that thought this was not as good as the series, not because I'm a precious fanboy with unrealistic expectations and a rose-tinted memory but because it didn't entertain me as much as I would have liked. That said I'm glad I watched it and it did enough for me as I imagine it will do for those who enjoy the series. Viewers will rightly feel that it could have been funnier or more consistent but with a handful of great moments and a scattering of good ones it is still worth a look.
