kitquinio This movie was one of my favorites!! A classic that I highly recommend you to watch!!!!
johnthehooker From start to finish this film was utterly amazing. There may not be lots of action, but contrary to belief a great film does not need to be full of action. The simplicity of this film is it's genius, Ferris is a rule breaker. But he is certainly a very likeable character & along with the growth of his best friend during the film Cameron. The relationship between these characters & the constant chase from the head teacher Rooney, give this film a real depth. I can guarantee this film will bring a smile to anyone's face. No matter what mood you may be in, this is a film that will always lighten your mood. It is one of those films that everyone needs to make sure they see at least once in there life.
ragpap93 An irreverent eighties comedy with only one message, the one above. Mostly harmless slapstick but there was one utterly cringe worthy moment when Ferris pretending to be his girlfriend, Sloane's father who came to pick her up in order to cut school without getting caught starts snogging her and the principal/headmaster was like eh I guess that's how they greet in the family. Yikes! Not as bad as the comedies nowadays though.
chimera3 When I was a kid, I grew up with the late legend John Hughes. I watched the first two "Home Alone" movies to the point of where I had the lines memorized, and that was before I was 12. Then came "The Breakfast Club," probably one of the best movies to watch regarding high school. (My middle brother saw it first and then talked me into it, but I do not regret it to this day.) After "The Breakfast Club" came "Pretty in Pink" and "Sixteen Candles," both of which I would only watch once. When I came to be a senior in high school, I was introduced to the awesome world of Ferris Bueller. If there is one movie that you should watch before you die, it would definitely have to be this one. It is also another movie that my middle brother and I know line for line and could watch it all day without getting tired of it. That's just the power that John Hughes has to this day, even after his death. A word to the wise, though: although this movie is fantastic with a capital F, do not show it around certain junior high and high school students, for they may actually get the wrong idea. Life does not work like fiction and you will get caught, no doubt about that. Having said that, enjoy this movie over and over.
