Darld99 I agree that this is a poorly made film in almost all its aspects. Frankly, I don't care. I'm tired of everyone reviewing every film as if it were 'Chariots of Fire'. I couldn't stand that 4-star, Oscar winning piece of over-hyped dribble. 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes', 'Showgirls' or 'Devil Dog, Hound from Hell' received an overrated 1- star. Cheap and shallow has its place and mindless entertainment is exactly what you want at times. Effort was put into this project and you can't take that away.

Destroyer Wod So being a Miesha Tate fan, i had to watch this movie. The trailer kinda gave me the vibe of a very cheap indy flick, which it is partly but somehow not bad at all for such thing.The story is actually interesting, i did get emotionally involved in it, and if you want to see Miesha Tate movie debut, well she does have a real role in this. Holly Holm? Just a cameo, i guess they put her as the focus of the cover box because of her title win, cause really she is just a cameo. Cyborg is not too much in it either, and her acting is not good, i guess this is to expect as English ain't her first language from the start but thankfully since her role is small, it pass fine. Miesha really surprised me, i wouldn't say she put a "great performance" but she wasn't bad at all in her acting part. The other actress goes from decent to not too good, but they are not bad enough to put the movie in danger of looking awful either.The fights? Well i have read lots of reactions to them and i would say this... They are "passable" if i can say. There not very long, there basics, they do there job OK to advance the plot, but clearly it show the director and fight choreographer are both very inexperienced in filming such things.Movies like Never Back Down for example had much much better fights despite involving actors who are not really fighters. But as weird as it may sound, i had a feeling the fights where not the primary aspect of this movie, it was the plot and how it unfold, and the emotions involved, which surprisingly i got into.So ... maybe its because i had very low expectation but i was pleased with my VOD rental... I would say if you treat this movie as an indy low budget film, it does a decent job. Forget about the 27 million budget on IMDb page, whoever put this is bogus... If the budget was 1 million i would be surprised... There is nothing costly in this movie beside maybe Miesha Tates pay check lol.

DogFilmCritic Since I saw the trailer I knew this was going to bomb but I didn't had any idea of how bad it was, this movie can become The Room of fighting movies as it was as bad as it could yet unintentionally laughable.The acting in this movie is a joke non of this girls ever set foot in a real ghetto and There acting was as stereotypical as you can imagine I can imagine the research for the roles were watching a lot of movies with Ice T on them. Windsor the protagonist says she is 30 but her mom looks 7 years younger than her, the knock around girls ( a crew of twenty something that look more like skaters that street fighters) are a bunch of brats pushing their luck every time there is a fight as all the fights are so choreograph non even the pros make it look real and they try to convince us they are hardcore ghetto. ( Cyborg, Tate and Holm included) speaking of Holly Holm she is in this movie probably for a few seconds and her character doesn't go anywhere, she has top billing and she is the biggest person in the poster and they do nothing with her their is also the Serrano sisters whom I'm told they are pro boxers but they don't give them nothing to work with and they end up like push overs. The fact this trio are fighters and not actresses is clearly a fact as their dialog is very forced, Rob Hawk probably said " just act as angry and ghetto as possible". Rob Hawk worked his ass off trying to put this garbage together and you can tell how his experience is practically zero, the pacing is horrible it will jump from one scene to the other from night to day with no continuity and many scenes that were cut roughly , the editing is messed up a lot was cut in the editing room and what was left has a lot of plot holes and you can nip pick almost every scene and the continuity errors are all over, I've scene school protects that looked more decent than this.In the raw and tough world of Fight Valley there no such thing as logic or cops Tori a skinny girl that we are supposed to believe is a bad ass gets herself killed street fighting and its up to her sister to find out the killer as she is trained by Jabz (Tate) for apparently no reason at all ...to survive as Jabz so wisely placed it, but those montages are wasted as she gets her ass kicked every time, we find out it was Church ( Cyborg) who killed Tori, the last fight is as a minute long and we find out Jabz helped to cover the murder....Oooh no not Jabz, it's a very anti climatic ending were everyone says their sorry and the end, no filling for murder or anything they said they were sorry that's enough to settle everything, as Windsor said she was ready to take back what they took from her sister but she finds comfort by Jabz and Church saying they are sorry and having shed some tiers.So that's fight Valley an idea that made no sense, Rob Hawk I'm sure there are many career opportunities you can pursue besides filmmaking.P.S: Rob stop making your friends write positive reviews on your garbage you call a film believe me anyone with common sense knows this is junk.

unclecrip First off Holly Holm is prominently featured on the cover of the movie yet is in it for all of 10 seconds. Now that I've got that out of the way on to the movie. This will be short and sweet. The acting, editing, sound, and anything else you can think of that's involved in making a movie is all horrible. The acting though takes the prize as all "actors" involved were so ridiculously bad that I started to think it was a joke, but my friends, unfortunately the only joke was that I watched the whole movie. The "actors" didn't seem to know when they were supposed to say their lines and most times their mannerisms didn't match what they were saying or supposed to be doing. The only reason I watched the entire movie is that I was not watching it alone because if I were alone I would have split after about 20 minutes if that. As bad as the editing was I feel that the fact that the director and actors did such a bad job hindered anything an editor could do with the slop in the can. As far as this movie having a 6.7 rating after only about 10 or so ratings, well I think that can be chalked up to paid for reviews. Either that or the handful of reviews were done by friends and/or family of the film maker . Truly awful!!!
