vikasemail87 This movie lacked almost everything. First of all the cinematography was too irritating.. They have mixed the concepts of purgatory and real world.. Acting was too weak and the action was intolerable.. If you want to watch something resembling the concept of this movie then watch the TV Series "Supernatural" and decide for yourself.. I am sure you'll like it. As far as this movie is concerned, don't waste your time. There are not many nice movies about angels but this one wins the prize for worst. The costumes, makeup, scenery, story, acting, animation, action.. everything was too hard to bear.. As i have said before, if u want to watch something good on this concept then watch "Supernatural", specially 4th and 5th season.

paulo_bas First of all let me say that I was expecting a bad movie because of IMDb's user rating. I saw it mostly because of the main actor, the late Andy Whytfield that made Spartacus too.The story isn't good at all but I think the concept by himself is quite good. Some chosen angels and some chosen fallens fight for control. Indeed quite good. They could use more special effects but the budget was low. The movie was very dark to see (yes I know darkness was supposed to rule, but I didn't liked that).I think that Amitiel/Jade appearance in the movie could be cut off because it wasn't that relevant.The ending wasn't predictable at all and makes us wonder why he did it.Most of the actors are lame but Andy and the guy that does Sammael are very good indeed.

froggy-38 Very good movie with some decent dialogue and spectacular action scenes. Gabriel was very well played. As was Michael. Nice twist to the Sammael/Michael identity. I hate to write a critique of this movie, but it won't let me post a review without ten lines of text. I thought the powers of the different angels was out of whack. Also Uriel, being a man instead of the woman Gabriel was seeking didn't make sense. And him being too drunk to defend himself was ludicrous. Some of the Angels were too easy to kill. Gabe should have been demonstrably stronger than any except Michael. etc. Hope this was enough text to enable the posting of this review.

Uriel? Rafael? Amatiel? and all other archangels? Where on earth did the find those? No references whatsoever of the names of other archangels apart from Michael and Gabriel are given in Bible. There are references in the book of Tobit about Rafael and in the book of Enoch about Uriel, but those books are not included in the Bible. I am not saying those angels don't exist, but only we have not proof they do.6. The power of angels is exhaustible? How come???7. Evil (even in disguise under rebellious Michael) can be stronger than Light? Do you know who the LIGHT is???
