Really an excellent film from Bollywood.Yes it is a remake of the Hollywood film memento but it's awesome and terrific and wonderful.The story was good.The direction from AR murgados was awesome.The screenplay was nice.The dialogues were awesome.The songs were really beautiful good and pleasant to hear.And yeah it has the method actor of Bollywood Aamir khan so the acting will be definitely terrific and awesome by him The acting by Asin was good too.So yes guys it's a must watch film and remember guys the story is really very sad.

Indian adaptation of Christopher Nolan's memento. The film starts of with the actor Suriya(Ghajini) having temporary memory loss. Actress Nayantara's role is redundant in the film. Asin was good as the lead actress in the film. The ending kinda gets janky. Overall of this film rating 7/10.

It is hard to keep a viewer entertained for 3 hours even when you have a gripping story told at a fast pace. That is not Ghajini's case, so I did grow restless as the film moved on.Half the film is a light-hearted love story which is fully developed and can stand on its own. The other half is about revenge, murder and destruction inflicted by a physically super-human hero. The film tries to be everything for everyone. In the end though, you cannot like both halves, one of them will not be your type.The idea of the film is the same as Chris Nolan's Memento, but only developed superficially, to interlace with the love and the revenge stories. Whereas in Memento you are meticulously brought to understand the development of the hero's path to revenge, in this film you have no idea how does the hero come from the point of losing his memory to the inception of his revenge quest.That being said, the film has merits, and save for the fallacies of the plot highlighted above it is a story reasonably well told. But not for 3 hours and not in comparison with films on the same topic more solidly done (and I'm thinking of Memento here).

I'd wanted to see this film for ages --not least because Aamir Khan is sex-on-legs but also because I liked Memento a great deal and wondered what Bollywood would do with it. And in the event...? Well Aamir is gorgeous, as is the art direction. The songs are class. And the flashbacks to the love story are without doubt the best bits...nobody conveys falling in love quite as deliciously as Aamir does...But the present day Memento bits? Largely an excuse for cartoon violence and it didn't work for me.I found the two female co-stars both lacking --especially the medical student. Too glamorous and too wooden. Sorry, love, but you need to find a different career, me thinks.Overall, it wasn't great but it was interesting and worth a watch.But what is it with all the critics on here that go on about the plot-holes? It's Bollywood not The Discovery Channel! Since when was Bollywood anything more than escapist nonsense. I mean, get real!! Enjoy it for what it is not for what it is not.
