What I like about this movie is that it is not ordinary and it has a great plot. It's composed of not one, but several little stories within the larger tale. The main character is a handsome, moral individual who cares about more than just money, sex, success, or any of the other things most adults seem to obsess over. He is determined to follow his dream and more than anything to find "the answer". The entire film is allegorical, immensely interesting, and unique. It is a breath of fresh air to find a film like this - one that is wonderful, memorable, not run of the mill, and yet one that I had never heard of before and discovered purely by chance. It is a gem of a film with decent acting and well-written characters and scenes. The film makes you think about what you would do in his situation, it makes you hope for greatness in your own life, and makes you want to know what will happen for the main character. I love these sorts of "journey" films and all the fantastical elements of the movie just make it that much better. Sure, there were certain things about the film I didn't particularly like, like the segment about the girl looking for the perfect sexual experience. I just didn't understand why it was there or why it was necessary for her to be humiliated, but I love the segment about "Euphoria", as well as the last 20 or so minutes of the film. There are also certain questions the film leaves unanswered, but I suppose that mystery just lends itself to discussion - those questions give you something to ponder about, disagree on, or just generally think about the film long after you've seen it. In any sense, it's a very entertaining, special, and worthwhile film.

An all American road-trip, with a difference, the difference being morals, don't think this counts as a spoiler... The main protagonist is a rich brat about to go to college but wondering what life really holds in terms of answers, and what he gets is a road trip down a road that doesn't really exist...He learns to trust himself, be true to himself, some pretty standard morals, but is faced with some tricky decisions and shown some people who chose otherwise, pretty amusingly as far as we are concerned.Ultimately the young man has to face his demons, and you need to watch it to see how he comes out!Loved this film, really truly loved it, the characterisation, the cast, the sublime satire, truly a wonderful piece of work.

Is this a joke ? Or are people becoming more and more easy to please ? How could this straight to DVD (and RIGHTFULLY SO) piece of crap can get a 7,6 out of 10 average rating here ? That's beyond me and tends to prove that our current "human" society is getting worse and worse... I'm a massive fan of parallel-alternate universe movies (time travel ones too) and I was ready for a treat here and I'm also a super massive fan of BTTF , Michael J.Fox and Mr Lloyd but wow what a joke of a flick we got here... What's so funny and entertaining about Gary Oldman showing his sex to the horror of Mardsen exactly ? What's the point of our lead character to fall in love with an absolute unknown from pictures that come out of his mind WHILE having already a lovely girl friend he is supposed to care about ? This movie is so gross, vulgar and appalling that I could not believe it was the same person who worked on the masterpiece called BTTF...Let's not talk about James Mardsen being a joke of an actor (as charismatic as a tooth pick), he ruined the movie from start to finish with his dumb smile and empty eyes (zero emotion).To cut it short, if you want just entertaining movies about the same matter go for something like Lost Highway or the old series Sliders.Avoid this crap at all costs, Michael J Fox is not even inside the movie and has the worst lines he has ever said in his whole career.

Well this movie smart script well talented actors i like a lot things in this film it's so true and deep..after m.
