lasse-uk Admittedly I've seen a lot of bad films in my time but this has to be one of the worst films I've ever seen. First of all the plot is really ridiculous and there is no apparent beginning and the ending isn't all that great either. The fact that there is no beginning proves that the director obviously thought it would be a good idea to push the viewer into the middle of the action to get the instant involvement but it only serves to confuse and annoy. Secondly the plot is way too complicated for its own good. The story has a lot of twists and turns and they are obviously there to keep the audience guessing as to what might happen next. However, again I must say that it only succeeds in confusing and annoying the viewer. People really aren't looking for a really deep, complicated storyline in a TV-action movie. Now as for the actors they are generally really bad. Teri Hatcher is completely uninteresting and sucks as a mother. I'd be really sad to have her as my mother. Rob Lowe who is actually a decent actor but he does some of the worst acting throughout his entire career. Trevor Blumas... well Trevor Blumas sucks. Not at a single time is he believable. He sucks throughout the entire movie. All in all a really poor effort 2 out of 10
acearms Okay, now the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency, (that's an oxymoron itself)) is framing Jane Doe(or is it the company that's doing it?), but then her 17 year old son is a DIA operative in the company and her ex-husband is a DIA agent. Bad guys in the company she works for are into selling secrets to foreign agents, so she reveals happenings about this and is fired for doing so, then is set up by insiders in the company to cover up the killing of the company president. Now the DIA is in cahoots with the company big wigs from the get go, but makes out like it is trying to catch the company VIPs in the act of transferring the secret stuff. Next the DIA boss wants to kill her DIA agent husband because who knows why and also wants to take out she and her son. DOES ANY OF THIS MAKE SENSE? A movie you definitely will want to miss.
Kastigeer All in all it was a good movie, Teri Hatcher turns from computer geek to a tough broad. Didn't see much of Rob Lowe, but that was his role in the film. The are two things though, It looks like it was made for cable, cause throughout the movie some profanity was dubbed out, and second In the "Bathroom" scene, I was wondering where she got the handgun? I mean she said she was afraid and didn't know how to use one. She didn't have it in the bag she brought, and it wasn't in the truck where she took the Rifle. So I guess it was overlooked. So maybe someday will see it on cable or in our local video stores.
joaniebob I'm watching it now and I'm losing interest as it goes on. The writing is nothing but clichés and one liners and the plot is implausible. I like both Teri Hatcher and Rob Lowe but their talents are wasted in this mess of a movie. I'd rather watch paint dry.
