DG_Boy Emraan Hashmi at his best.Nice movie.Nice acting by Hashmi.Nice direction by Kunal deshmukh.Nice and beautiful songs.Loved the songs all songs.The story is interesting of Hasmi as a bookie.Stuck in a triange of sorts between the woman he loves and his addiction to make a quick buck. Good editing.Awesome screenplay.Nicely produced by tbe Bhatts.The movie shows us that greed can kill.Just see this movie I believe you will like this.Emraan Hasmi should do more movies like this.But don't forget the end will make you cry.And the sequel also is awesome jannat 2.Overall you will like this movie for the brilliant performance by Emraan Hashmi and the story of this movie.

silvan-desouza I always like Bhatt films for being very dark, for being more mature then Yash raj films But this film proved me that there tend to get too simplistic too There take a piping hot concept, about match fixing and then weave a ordinary story round it There don't do research about the match fixing and are as clueless about it as ours The promos promised that it would be the center stage but it actually gets such a backseat that it is forgettableI know a story is important, drama is important, romance is important But here sadly there give too much importance to a 80's type love story and rest takes a backseat even the main premiseThe initial reels seem to remind you of 80's and 90's films, reckless and roadside type heroes are no longer novel or cool Then the glass breaking scene is so stupid Then the mazaa starts when the focus shifts to the gambling but that too doesn't last for long The way the initial batting episodes are handled, it's good but then it gets too childish later-onThe drama at the interval point is good but sadly things get predictable in second half and the climax is so stupid and filmy it falls flatDirectorally, the film is okay for a first timer but the script seems baffled Music(Pritam) is good, ZARA SI and LAMBI JUDAI are goodEmraan seems to be getting more natural and cool with every film, he acts well and actually stands out in the film Sonal seems wooden and unintentionally hilarious in the climax Vishal seems typecast Samir Kocchar is excellent but his role is clichéd Javed Sheikh is amazing

amit_hk2001 An incredibly nice song sung by KK, jara si dil mein de jagah tu..., is the biggest attraction of the movie. The movie, in general, is 'yet another Emraan Hashmi movie'. The theme can be stated as : "A guy who is good at guessing what will happen next in a cricket match starts 'Do number dhanda' of betting and match fixing." The story writer failed to successfully augment love story part of the story with the match fixing and stuff. The main flaw in the movie (or may be story) is the way in which Emran Hashmi dies in the end. Quality of direction is quite good till the first song. Acting by Emraan Hashmi is OK as always.Unlike other Emraan Hashmi movies, this movie doesn't focus on Extra Marital Affairs.

tintin Wasteful and criminal waste of Time if u want to watch it.The story is about a person(Arjun) who loves gambling,flirting etc etc (almost everything non productive) After loosing a lot of money in gambling he is under debt but rather than thinking of paying back he falls in love and the money which his friend gave him to clear the debt is squandered in buying gift for his girl friend(How bad can you do...)When the lender (supposedly a Goon) gets after him ,our protagonist Arjun Discovers that he has a gift for predicting the outcome of cricket Matches. Wow!!!!!!What gets me wondering is ,how on earth he gets this power to predict only Cricket matches with 100% accuracy .omg!!!!! and since when did GOD started being so specific in terms of giving physic powers to humans. So we might have another arjun who can predict Hockey,Soccer....etc etc. Well this is not the end of bad and a loosely done script. so after paying his debt and earning loads of money .Arjun starts to work for an Underworld don based in South Africa. Mr Don who has a empire wants to make money thru cricket betting and employs Arjun have a multiplier effect on his wealth. Arjun is given the task of fixing matches...Now this is sheer stupidity and the story writer has completely lost it here. First the script says ,Arjun can do predict the outcome without knowing anything and later he is given the job to fix matches. What is the need to fix matches when he knows the result without talking to anyone. Cant they just make money by knowing everything in advance..Where is the need to fix matches by going and talking to players.....So you can well understand how badly written this movie is. Don't know why this movie was made and what did the writer had in his mind..but it is total crap except for some songs...Must Avoid !!!!!!! unless u believe everything that is shown on the screen.
