doriva_paivarj First of all Im sorry for the bad english, but english is not my native language, now about the movie..., Im a huge fan of Tupac and hip-hop culture and I was looking foward to watch this movie since I've just watched Boys N the Hood and kids, and love it, and besides that Juice's imdb's rating is 7.1 stars at this moment. I made a Huge mistake, I just lost one and a half our... poor history, the worst actors, tupac disapointing as an actor, lots of cliches and very very bad production. Really is unbeliveble that the imdb rating is 7.1, the only explanation is that only teenagers and kids are rating this movie and dont know nothing about a good movie. Dont worst your time
Irishchatter I honestly didn't think Tupac at the end, turned into a bad guy like it really tricked you that he wouldn't be the villain but damn, he did it really really well! Too bad his character Bishop dropped dead but you know with bad guys, you do want them out of the way. Unfortunately in another 4 years time since this movie, 2pac will be shot with the guns. The shootout scenes really do make you a little sick because it does remind you of how 2Pac died. Seriously this movie was intense man, it really does show how poor black neighbourhoods are dangerous and not safe places to live in. To be honest, I honestly don't understand why people would go near the places, its just very intense. Good movie but very rough, 8/10!
guillermomstudent I think people should pay attention to my review because I am a young adult, a teenager who lives in New York and can relate to a few topics in this movie.Three things that I thought were good from the movie were the dialogue, the actors especially Tupac as an actor and Omar Epps and the places where the movie took place. This movie accurately shows the teenage life in New York because it shows how kids be skipping school, spending more time in the streets than home and how their day one "bros" be switching up on them and how they deal with their situations in the hood. One thing I think it was bad it was the play and the role of the Spanish dude Radames because he over did some stuff, and the way he talked and how hard he tried to be tough.
Nishanth Ponniah This movie was a complete disappointment to me. Granted, I was born in 1993 and never got the witness the 2Pac era. From everything I read, 2Pac is a very intelligent and self educated man, but his acting in this role doesn't impress me. He is basically portraying the gangster image he portrays in his rap music. He didn't have to go too far out of his bubble. The plot was very basic and I was vastly disappointed. It's the kind of plot that has been reused so many times, except this one doesn't have any added elements that will keep you watching until the end, EXCEPT for Tupac Shakur (because of how influential he was at the time). There are far more superior gangster movies out there. Don't be deceived by this cast. Some names will make it very appealing but in the end, it will not be worth it.
