Saad Khan London Paris New York - Trash It (C+) A boy meets girl and fall in love in one day and they meet for only one day in span of 5 to 6 years in London, Paris & New York. In today's digital world it's hard to image that they don't keep in touch with each other just because she said so... The script is flawed from beginning to end The Boy remains almost the same but the Girl from Naive in London, Evil in Paris and then turned into Nicest in New York. There are moments which are really good but bad music & tedious pace of the movie makes it really boring to sit through. Ali Zafar is a charmer but not that great of an actor he made me bore. Aditi Rao is great in portraying three different shades of her character though sadly there is not much thought about it she falls in love takes revenge and then forgives easily. Anyways if you want to watch it, you can watch for Ali Zafar & Aditi's chemistry but its tedious overall.
darshancruz Bollywood can treat you with a 'Kahaani' and at the same time, it can delude you with 'London Paris NewYork'. This movie is a very bad attempt (to say the least) to recreate 'Before Sunrise' and 'Before Sunset' (which were both quite good). The movie is about a film- maker Nikhil Chopra (Ali Zafar) who is a typical rich guy with inherited wealth from his family. He meets Aditi aka Lalita at London airport and they spend the day & night together. They promise to meet in New York after 6 months. 2 years later, we are in Paris. Nikhil is here to find her and they meet in one of the pubs where she has changed from a geek to someone who has breathed the Western air. If you have seen the movie till here, you have done the hard part. We are at intermission. The second half begins well. After spending the night in Paris, Aditi ditches Ali. She tells about her journey from NY to London, just to see him with someone else in bed. She believes this is her revenge and will destroy Ali the way it destroyed her. Here we feel we have some justice to the pathetic first half. Few years later, we are in NY. Ali is here to meet Aditi and they spend another night together. The next morning when they wake up, Aditi is to marry a new guy Alan. Ali cant believe it. How I wish, this was the end.. but Bollywood HAS to have a happy ending and you know what happens next.Ali Zafar can't stop over acting and Aditi Rao portrays herself as a complete rookie..The songs are a complete let down.. You are better of watching a nonsensical comedy like 'Ready' where at least you have Salman Khan to look at. This one's even worse ! AVOID in caps.
prashantgupta2002 That is one of the dumb movie I have ever seen. First time in life I went to manager of hall and demand my money back. Two strangers meet in London fell in love. After two year they meet again for one day again fell in love, do sex and girl dumped him. Perhaps some people like talking style of Ali Jafar but for first time talk with a girl like this.... This is not fault of actor but director. After 5 years they met in Newyork one day before wedding of girl, again fell in love and girl broke her marriage. No story line, no acting and mostly boring direction. One Song is good and lovely Aditi Rao Hydari. In first part small comedy is there which is better then other full movie. But you can't see the full movie only for this part. This is worthless to see the movie.
Sidharth Banerjee We need movies like London, Paris, New York.Directed by first timer Anu Menon the movie has a restricted script which is of course just revolving around a guy and a girl. Yet the film manages to hold up pretty well. With Ali Zafar playing Nikhil Chopra, the son of a rich producer dad's son,Aditi Rao Hydari as Lalitha Krishnan, a typical tamilian brahmin girl and being shot in 3 beautiful cities it makes sure that you don't get bored.Ali Zafar gives it everything he has with his music and rightly so making more or less all songs likable though my favourite will be 'Wo dekhne mein'.There is nothing wrong about the story and it does what is expected out of it.With a running time of just 1 hour and 45 minutes, a wise thing I would say it moves along at a comfortable pace.Ali Zafar is extremely charming and he uses his experience giving a very mature performance. I'd might just nominate him for the best actor category given a chance. Aditi looks very cute and has great screen presence.Yes, there is nothing outrightly spectacular about it but still it definitely deserves a watch. My rating-2.5/5
