christiandonrukantha Normally, if a movie is as intolerable and downright pathetic as "My Pet Dinosaur" was, I would pause it at the earliest chance and scour through Netflix for something better. Unfortunately, I was watching this movie with two others and had to sit through what can be genuinely described as the worst movie experience of my entire life. Words cannot truly describe how bad this movie was and I'm genuinely enraged by the thought that a group of people came together and decided that this movie was worth producing and then distributing. Trash.

Fat Freddy'sCat Currently on a visit to NSW, and staying with family in Lithgow, they told us that much of this movie had been shot in their street. So on our first evening here they put it on. After the drive up from Sydney, and then a few drinks over dinner, I soon began to doze off. I guess I ended up watching about half of it, but it really failed to interest me at all. I don't mind that it was a low budget offering, but what I could grasp of the plot was that it was pointless and rambling. The kids tried hard, so I will give it 3/10, but it is best avoided, or otherwise used as a cure for insomnia.

ausfi Sure, if you count the mistakes and stress those a lot and they bother you too much, of course it is a terrible film. But then again I love films about dinosaurs and dragons, so that is the first plus for me. Someone wrote that there is no humour or charm in it, they cannot be very observant. I found a fair lot of both. There was very little information of the UFOs or the green goo and why they influenced each other. It was nice to see relationships improve. It certainly was not a ten star film but terrible? No sir!

mypetreview This film is a delight. The story and characters are heartwarming and Magnus is just gorgeous. The young cast put in some really good performances. The accents at times seem to slip with a couple of them but overall they carry the film brilliantly. The only criticism I have is that I can't find anywhere where I can purchase a Magnus toy for my boys.Do yourself a favour, Ignore the trolls. The real critics are spot on with this one.
