adonis98-743-186503 Never Back Down 2 is a sequel to Never Back Down that was released back on 2008 and it got released on 2011 starring and directed by Michael Jai White the only person that returns for the sequel is Evan Peters known from his role of Quicksilver in the X-Men Movies. The story is about Four fighters with different backgrounds come together to train under an ex-MMA rising star and then ultimately have to fight each other. I love Michael Jai White's character is easily the best part of the movie and every time he fights he is amazing especially the scene with the cops the moment where the movie falls apart is when that emo dude turns into a badass and it has a lot of scenes that look like they came out of a Porn movie seriously just watch it and you will understand what i mean but in the end it's a pretty good movie.
Evan Irby Quite literally a high-budget movie about several d-bags and "tarty" women. The male characters (who are supposed to be buddies) are constantly at each other's throats in a pursuit for who's the most masculine, and one of the characters' friends even gets so big headed that he goes against them. The only one who seems to have any sense is their trainer, White. Literally all of the women flaunt themselves throughout the movie, including the main character's love interest, who gloats about the large amount of people she's slept with and even makes fun of the guy's virginity while romantic music plays in the background.Very few characters are portrayed as good people, and as a viewer, I felt no sympathy for their endeavor.
varunvurt Much like the first movie this revolves around a bunch of guys trying to prove themselves, but unlike the first this is multi-starrer. But all the expectations can be kicked out within a few minutes into the movie. Bad acting by all of them (except for Michael White),no proper background to the characters, the characters aren't developed enough, lack of emotion and a few other traits add up to a very disappointing watch. You feel like you are just sitting there seeing a bunch of characters in scene after scene just stringed together. In some particular instances the movie makes no sense what so ever. The first movie was filled with emotions creating a reason for Jake Tyler(Sean Farris) to fight his way into the beatdown, but here it just a group of guys swearing at an alarming rate fighting each other. There are a few saving graces though, like the training sessions where you can see some insane work-out methods. All in all an average movie.
kyle287-1 i bought this DVD purely because i am a Michael jai white fan, i had little to no hope in actually enjoying the film but i was very surprised. i disliked the first never back down and expected it to be equally as bad, but i found this one a lot easier and more interesting to watch even if one or two of the actors were terrible lol ...it was still a very enjoyable watch with some great choreographed fight scenes and some surprisingly believable characters like Epstein as the bullied goth turned psycho ...Michael jai white is in as awesome shape as ever and i really enjoyed the training scenes ... all in all i didn't think i would enjoy it anywhere near as much as i did.
