Reviews

picturebigger I thought this was going to be watchable based on other reviews I had read, but I was wrong. I can't make my mind up on whether this was due to bad acting, poor directing or a combination of the two. The story line was OK but nothing we haven't seen a thousand times before. I usually watch a film solidly and do not like distractions during viewing, but I found myself hoping the jehovah's witnesses would pay me a visit just to break up the boredom a bit. To be honest it was more like watching a spoof rather than a serious film. Some people have raved about this film and everyone is entitled to their own opinion even people with seemingly low aspirations for good entertainment. Perhaps at best this is an afternoon TV film to fall asleep to, that's if your cringing doesn't keep you awake!
wolflover1978 Although the plot was pretty good the actuality of this happening is very unlikely. If I heard Meredith Monroe say "My Daughter" 1 more time I was going to scream(BTW). And why did the good guy Lochlyn Monro have to die? Seems all the good guys get killed off anymore in these Lifetime movies :( Still love me some Lifetime movies and will continue to watch even if some of them are unbelievable. I guess that's why we watch these movies to begin with. I just wish that the good/nice guy didn't always have to perish just to make the story. I would have liked to see the cop survive and the two of them become a couple and live happily ever after
guil fisher First of all Meredith Monroe is in this. One of my least favorites on LMN. Second, I dislike these improbable LMN films where these stupid females get away with what they do. This one is one of the worst. Monroe goes around acting a tough female who can go around breaking car windows. knock our policemen and handcuff them. She can break into police headquarters and go through police files. And NEVER GET CAUGHT. From the beginning I kept hoping someone would get her and shut her up for good. Every time I see these friggin female leads on LMN go around breaking the law and acting like superwoman, I want them to get shot. They always come off like some kind of hero and believe me, they're not.In this case I kept hoping Monroe would get wiped out. Who writes this junk?
rbrb This is actually a worth while movie. I would classify it as a superior thriller drama. It rattles along mostly at a decent pace and has many good moments.Policeman's wife is widowed and then is stalked and hunted by a maniac technology expert with plenty of interesting gadgetry and the film has out of control car rides,a kidnap and shoot outs etc.The two main leads vie to steal the show. I thought all the performances in the movie were convincing. The female lead is charismatic; the male lead plays the part of a psycho very well.In my opinion this picture merits a decent vote, and I give it a solid: 7/10.
