The Rammstein - Live aus Berlin DVD is a compilation of two live concerts filmed at Berlin's open-air Parkbühne ("park stage") Wuhlheide in August 1998. The DVD offers 17 of the band's songs, most of which are found on the two CD albums "Sehnsucht" and "Herzeleid." The show itself is a very entertaining performance with plenty of the usual stunts, pyrotechnics, and lighting effects you'd expect from an industrial metal band.

Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) The title here "Rammstein: Live aus Berlin" of this 90-minute documentary(?) says exactly what this is about. It is a concert by the German rock music band "Rammstein" that they gave a long time ago in Berlin. I would not call myself a fan of the band, but they have 2 or 3 songs that I like quite well and I can somehow understand why they are so famous, also in the United States and abroad in general. So people who love them will certainly enjoy seeing Lindemann and the others in action. I personally did not though. None of the songs really did anything for me and as somebody who is not already a fan of the artists before watching, this will be a really boring watch, just like it was for myself. I am somewhat glad the concert only lasted for 90 minutes, but on the other hand this also is a reason why I give this film an even lower rating. Concert tickets are really expensive and these shows should not be over so quickly because of all the money fans pay for it. 1.5 hours is an insult. I have been on concerts of almost 80-year-old artists who were on stage for 3 hours or longer. Yes this "movie" here is a pretty spectacular stage show, but this cannot make up for everything that is wrong with it. I do not recommend the watch. The IMDb rating is a complete joke.
Agent10 Very few live videos can produce the sheer power of what Rammstein can do. With their trademark flamethrowers and high adrenaline stage antics, Rammstein remains one of those cult bands which most people will never get to see in person (like myself). Until the day I get to see them in person, this video will have to be my single concert experience of one of my favorite bands.
Netti84 If you haven't seen this you haven't lived! Six men - one stage - thousands of fans - pure power! This is the best concert I have ever seen. Especially the performance of "Wilder Wein" - without e-guitars - is just great! Rammstein is not one of these bands which don't have anything else but a good manager. They know what they want, you can see it in their show. And their songs are so powerful - you will love them even if you don't understand the lyrics. (But, believe me: the lyrics are the best!)
stonecoldkane1 This film is guaranteed to to make any Rammstein fan tingle inside, although "Buch Dich" was cut from the DVD, and that was my favorite song. Otherwise, all of the other features make up for it! A must for any Rammstein fan.
