The acting is passable, it's nice to see a grown up Renee playing a grown woman. The story itself would have been interesting had it not been for the ever increasing god squad agenda. I should by now recognise it seems Greg K only does god movies but I was fooled into missing it given other cast. I find it remarkable the religious types are ok with this not so subtle pushing of their god agenda but god forbid a gay coupke kiss on a screen. I was disappointed by this movie because of this entire aspect which really makes this a fairy tale not a drama. If you want to make god agenda movies, at least be upfront about it so as not to waste the effort of those who aren't interested in your particular lifestyle choice.

Very refreshing and heart warming movie suitable for the whole family. When everything is said and done what matters most is how we relate to and treat other human beings. Amongst all the trivial shallow movies being mass produced today there has been a wonderful surge of movies with soul and spirit.

This would've been a good movie, with a good storyline, but the it fails in the technical aspects that for one Djimon Hounsou, who played Denver is only 54 and playing a character that would have to be pushing 90, and doing so without any makeup to show that age, was very distracting & just detracted from making the whole movie believable. Morgan Freeman, or maybe Garret Morris would have been better for the role.
Secondly, Debbie, who finds she has cancer, never undergoes any treatment, or none that the viewer is made aware, so no hair loss or sickness from chemo, or even any reference to it or to possibly her declining treatment? IDK, it's not addressed in the film at all. She just lives awhile, seemingly perfectly healthy, then dies.

This film tells the story of a wealthy couple who drifted apart. They become closer together by helping in a homeless shelter, and in the process they deeply touch other people's hearts.I haven't imagined how touching this film can be. I thought it was a forgettable romantic comedy, but it turns out to be a very emotional and touching drama about how to love one another. All we have to do is to reach out to people in need, listen to the person and he genuinely there to love and care. I find this film very touching.
