FountainPen Unless you want to see a group of partially clothed young lads who think they are the greatest, do not bother with this trash. The "actors" in this movie are the most UNappealing bunch of narcissistic jerks ever seen.
Libretio THE BROTHERHOOD 2: YOUNG WARLOCKS (2001)(UK: Young Warlocks)Aspect ratio: 2.39:1 (Lomoscope)Sound format: StereoA group of high school outcasts are given strange powers by an influential new student (Forrest Cochran) who turns out to be a murderous demon...Unrelated follow-up to THE BROTHERHOOD (2000) amounts to more of the same, though there's even less beefcake on display, and most of the guys aren't all that attractive anyway. The one exception is former model Sean Faris, playing an innocent pawn in Cochran's devilish plot, though director David DeCoteau takes little advantage of Faris' radiant beauty. As with the original, the narrative is weighed down by acres of mind-numbing dialogue, sparked by a studs-in-underwear finale and the "Brotherhood" series' signature episode, in which two near-naked hunks 'ravish' a hypnotized young girl, staged and photographed in a manner which suggests one guy is actually seducing the other. If the movie wasn't such a poorly-conceived tease (just like the first one), this might actually be worth a damn, but it just lies there and dies there. Followed by THE BROTHERHOOD 3: YOUNG DEMONS (2002).
farcoat I was surprised to find out, after watching the movie, that David Decoteau has made countless movies before this. Not to mention the puppet master movies I loved as a kid. Anyway, I wont be like other critics and say that David Decoteau does nothing but fill his movies with eye candy actors/actresses,I even wonder where he gets these people, they simply look good on screen although we can see very well that theyre a bit amateur and that theyre first timers. But where else do big stars get their first breaks? On B movies of course! The Brotherhood 2:Young Warlocks, is a story about a new guy in a small private school. Sure he gets harassed, almost raped in the bathroom, almost killed but he sure does get by. He has his own 'gang',who seem to be a bunch of lame ass idiots at first but then seems to gain "strength".The lighting on this movie isn't adequate, thus giving off the eerie sense that it is literally "dark" and foreboding. Also the make up effects arent that good. But who cares since you wont be seeing monsters until the final parts. As a big B movie fan I highly suggest you to borrow this on vcr and get ready for a night of funny, hilarious and not to mention serious eye popping.
idlehands2k This sequel to 2000's surprise video hit "The Brotherhood" shifts the focus from vampires to warlocks as yet another innocent young guy (Sean Faris, "Pearl Harbor") learns of a sinister attempt to bring the forces of evil to a campus college. Not a real horror movie by any standards, but this movie is only directed at a certain audience -- as evidenced by the many scenes of the cast stipping and in their boxer briefs. Also stars Forrest Cochran from the original "Brotherhood" movie playing a different character, and hot newcomers C.J. Thomason, Justin Allen and Greg Lyczkowski.
