The Hamiltons seem to be the picture-perfect American family. They are hardworking community members; giving to their local charities, attending town hall meetings and always respectful of their neighbors...except for the fact that they usually end up killing them.

trashgang A rather mediocre score so I thought to give it a try but did I regret watching this piece of crap. There's so much talking going on and be honest you all out there, there's really nothing happening at all. There's no gore to find and when things go wrong with the captured ones there's nothing to see. each time you think, yes, this time we will see some torturing (made in the torture porn era) you are left with a bitter feeling. When we do have some red stuff it's so boring, maybe the bath scene is the best of it all but even that I would show to my 8 year old one at home. At the end the Hamiltons said it perfectly, indeed, go away to another part were we can find fresh blood, well, go and never come back, pleaaaaaase.Gore 0/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 0/5 Story 1/5 Comedy 0/5
yeodawg A Zombie film is about Humans trying to survive while demons are hunting them down. A Vampire film is about Demons trying to survive in a human society, while Humans are hunting them down. The Thompson's are one of those Creepy 1970's vampire films. Y'know some creepy dude attacks a girl, then it goes back to his big castle. It then becomes slow-paced, as things come to a head, and they attack the castle. Well you take away the creepy castle and you have these nomadic goobers. The Hamiltons dispatch their first victims rather unceremoniously. And you're left wondering are these some back wood serial cannibal/serial killer. One brother is trying to fit in, get a job. 2 others love the life they live, but how long until the local yokels put one and one together.
Petrea Don't waste your time or money on this film. This is quite possibly one of the worst films that I have seen in a long, long time. Aside from it's complete and utter predictability, there were flaws in the acting, the camera work, the script and the overall plot. The Butcher Brothers made an attempt at including a few twists in their storyline with a big twist at the end. However these won't come as any surprise to anybody with half a brain (if you don't guess they're vampires then that's 10 points from Gryffindor). Plus, there were so many things left unexplained. You have no idea how the parents died, why the twins were incestuous or why the youngest brother had such an obsession with filming (the 'film project' excuse is obviously bullsh*t).Some of the camera work looked like it had been taken out of a high school film project - and no, I'm not talking about the shots recorded from the youngest brother's camcorder. The characters had absolutely no depth to them, and the acting - oh the acting. This film left me with so many questions, the biggest one being: why the hell was this film made?
Indyrod I absolutely loved this very unique movie about a family that has lost their Parents, and the three brothers and a sister have settled into a new location. The movie moves along and is basically an excellent character study, until the very cool reveal at the the end. It starts out pretty rough, as one of the Brothers has picked up a couple of hitchhiking bimbos, who he knocks out and takes back to the family's home to the basement, hangs them up by their hands, while the older Brother comes down and we see a little blood flying. It's not clear exactly what the family is up too, but it's definitely no good. As the movie moves on, the younger brother is fighting something as he does not conform to the rest of his siblings goings on. Towards the end it becomes very clear what is going on, even the thing in the box in the basement they refer to as Lenny. This is what I've heard is the best of the Afterdark movies for that year, and I can believe it. It is very unnerving as this family is definitely something else, but we are not exactly sure until the reveal what. Yes, some will figure it out earlier, but it had me stumped. I figured one thing, and I was close, but I had the wrong genre. The highlight of the movie is the performances of the Hamilton family unit actors, they are indeed superb. And the Butcher Brothers who directed this excellent horror movie, are definitely a team to watch in the future. This has become a favorite horror movie of mine amongst several in the past few years.
