Tord S Eriksson This little gem by Lasse Hallström has stood the ravages of time perfectly, just as crisp and enjoying now, as in 1981, when it was released. The story is centered around a small, rural, textile factory during WWII, when most men are at the front. The lead character is Cederqvist, the new time study man, that thinks he's a real stud. Employed by a factory that employs almost exclusively women, almost all blond and young, he goes into a spin!Well written, well acted and with a good director, and mostly filmed in a a real textile factory, a few miles from here, that gives a lot of authenticity to the story, it would be impossible to do it again today!
