samantharussell-64429 Sex trafficking I recently seen the movie trade and was very wowed with the movie. It is a drama that depicts what happens with sex trafficking. Long story short, it's real eye opening to sex trafficking. This movie is filled with great actors who truly make the film. First, Ceasar Ramos (Jorge) gives a legendary performance in this film and is absolutely breathtaking. Paulina Gaitan ( Adriana ) as the lead of the movie, is very captivating and pulls you into the action of what's going on around her. Finally, Alicja Bachleda ( Veronica ) is also an amazing captivator throughout the film, even though she was playing a protective role/ supportive. The casting of this movie is all around an amazing movie. It really pulls you in and makes you feel as if you were there in that situation. As mentioned above, this movie is about sex trafficking and how a young boy does everything he can to get his little sister back. He faces many problems along the way, and it leaves you on the edge of your seat and breathless. Additionally, you won't be able to help getting into the movie, and you'll be on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen in the end.One of the best things about this movie is that it's so eye-opening and thrill seeking. One thing this movie did for me was opened my eyes to what goes on with sex trafficking, how to stay away from it and be more aware of what's going on, and to listen when my parents tell me something isn't right. You can't help but cry at this movie. Finally, without giving to much away, you will be on the edge of your seat with everything that goes on in the movie, from going to a normal life, to having everything turned around in an instant.Overall, this is an amazing movie with a mix of heart wrenching and heart jumping situations all into one.
haylivaughn The Truth of TradeBy: Hayli Marie VaughnThis is not a uplifting movie. Trade made me realize how awful and cruel this world really is. I never thought sex trafficking actually happened but after watching this movie it has shown me just how easy it really is. Trade really spoke to me. In many ways did I find this movie realistic. Adriana's (Paulina Gaitan) mother told her not to ride the bike because it was too dangerous, and her being a teenager she did it anyway. I had a gut feeling something bad would happen. Jorge (Cesar Ramos) is a big brother who is hanging around the wrong group of kids. Veronica (Alicja Bachleda-Curus) is a mom who wanted to make money for her son and ended up getting kidnapped. This broke my heart because all she wanted to do is support her family. Ray is a policeman that has been looking for his daughter whom he thinks got sold into sex trafficking. Adriana is a young teenage girl who gets taken into this cruel environment. Luckily she meets Veronica and she makes her happy. Veronica is like a big sister to Adriana in this time. Veronica is always looking out for her and calming her down. This to me made me feel good on the inside because even though Veronica was in a tough time she was still looking out for someone other than herself. All Jorge wants to do is get his sister back and Ray helps him do so. After a lot of searching and following Jorge found his sister and Ray 'bought' her. This was an uplifting time in the movie because i was so scared that some random would buy her instead.I've never actually thought sex trade was something that actually happened often so this movie to me was a real eye opener. Although there is a lot of rape, molestation, and abuse in this movie it truly is a movie teenagers should watch.
jessicawilson-99753 Slavery trade I recently just watched the movie Trade .It is so heartbreaking that it would keep you on the edge of your seat .It so sad to see how fast anyone could be human trafficked.just watching the movie was sad. It was horrifying to see girls and women have to go through the things that they was made to do or the guys would kill them.Cesar Ramos (Jorge) started all the mess, but in the end he was just trying to get his sister, Paulina Gaitan (Adriana) . They was really good actors, especially Adriana. She had a lot of emotional parts and for her to show all that emotion was really incredible.Jorge had a huge roll in the movie ,Jorge showed in the movie how much it would take to get someone back. This movie was a real eye opener to me . My parents use to tell me good advice, but I use to take advantage of them. watching Trade made me realize I should listen to my parent's advice. Finally, I love how this film goes from horrifying to heart- wrenching. It would be a great movie for teenagers to watch because it will show them that your parent's advice is not always wrong . If i was you i would not take advantage of it because something horrifying could happen at any given time.
josephjohnson-12647 The film Trade is a great film. It was filmed in 2007. The movie can sometimes get intense, but it helps get the point of the film across to how terrible it is for these girls that are kidnapped and sold into human trafficking. This film will really open up your mind about human trafficking and how terrible these people are treated. The film started with Jorge (Cesar Ramos) getting his sister, Adriana (Paulina Gaitan), a bicycle without their mom's approval. When Adriana left the house without her mothers permission to ride her bicycle. She was kidnapped by human traffickers while she was out riding her bike. Her brother Jorge went looking for her. He met up with Texas police officer Ray Sheridan (Kevin Klein) who had previously had his daughter sold into human trafficking. The two searched for Adriana and their search eventually led them to New Jersey. This film can create many different emotions throughout it. The film will leave an impression on a someone such as just wondering how a person could lock another human in a room and not let them out and sell them for sex? Or how could someone actually buy another human being? The film Trade is definitely worth watching. Trade is a film that can open up the mind of a person. It helps the viewer realize that human trafficking does really occur in this world. Most people don't understand that people are still really bought and sold in our world today. I didn't know this until we started researching human trafficking in my senior English class in high school. When we watched Trade, every one of us were surprised to see to see this really happens to people. The film Trade is definitely worth watching.
