tom-943-247762 This movie was bad enough to force me create an IMDb account so I could warn others. Olatunde Osunsanmi should be publicly beaten for making this movie. I hope the producers lost enough money to ensure that they never try to fund another project again. Watching this film should be a film school requirement. It details everything you could possibly do to screw up a film project: no story, no character development, bad lighting, bad camera work, bad sound, bad foley work (running water while showing stagnant water. Really?). A 10 year old with a head injury, a broken handicam, and stuffed animals, could have done a better job than the crew that worked this film. If you like causing yourself pain, go ahead and watch this.
cobbler88 First, there is nothiabout this movie that is a take-off on Blair Witch Project. Some have cited the shaky camera. Those who did are obviously 30 or younger because the rest of us are aware that cameras were being shaken LONG before BWP. If they were taping themselves, it might be different , but they were not.Second - and this is responsible for most of the ludicrous things in this film - it's just not plausible that this could happen this way. Pretty much everything - from failed escapes to deaths - rely on the concept that someone scrounging for sustinance in a cave could grow very large, possess superhuman strength and pretty much dodge or be impervious to bullets. There just isn't enough food available for this to unfold this way. A person would use almost every waking moment looking for food. I'll grant that a person in a cave could grow strong, but not to the point where he could move things that multiple people could not move back. He'd more likely weigh about 140-160 and have corresponding strength. This could have been a decent flick but it was just too ready to insult the audience.
yorkshirerulesok if you are looking to vomit on your screen through disappointment may i courteously point u towards this film. Firstly the camera angles are as if it was filmed by a small weasel edging through the cave with a torch crammed up its ass.Secondly is it me or does this film actually have no storyline.Anybody who argues this film made an ounce of sense to them is clearly deluded. Secondly why is the main "scary" character some retard with a horses head for a hat.If i went out to compose a terrible film i don't think i could do better. \surely the actors must of known it was terrible when they made it. WAIT. Actors is a bit lenient.WARNING: only watch this film if you are: 1. willing to waste 1:30 of your life 2. fancy a laugh with your friends 3.want to see what a weasel would film if you gave it a camcorder in a cave ( sorry cavern )
rixrex Good thing I only paid $1 for this at the Big Lots! What a rotten example of a cave movie, or perhaps it could be said, a good example of how to NOT do a cave movie. The comment from the spelunker notwithstanding, the fact is that a MOVIE about a CAVE has to have more than the glare of lamps in our face to be appreciated. There has to be a minimal amount of back-lighting in order for us to see the activity. Not only did this trash have no back-lighting at all, it barely had any lighting upon the subjects and too often they were shot in close-up even during action scenes, leaving me to speculate as to what actually happened. While this technique is useful in keeping the hideous beast hidden from view, to use it for nearly all scenes is just ridiculous. Those who wish to see a cave as it would actually appear to an explorer, you only need to go into one yourselves. That's reality, but this was supposed to be a movie that could be watched and understood. It wasn't.Do yourself a favor and stick to The Cave and Descent for some good underground thrills.
