Reviews

ssra_25 The story had some potential, but sadly, when your scriptwriters are less than mediocre, it doesn't matter how much potential a story has because it will still suck. I gave it a 5 because:1. Over 80% of the lines are predicable and dumb (I mean really dumb). I don't understand why shows like this, Colony or The Walking Dead are completely destroyed by stupid lines and stupid characters. Which brings me to point no. 2;2. The characters themselves are just dumb (I mean really dumb). In the real world such people would either die quickly or kill themselves out of stupidity. The only one with an IQ over 75 is Brianna. The rest seem retarded.I really don't understand who hires scriptwriters like those who ruined this show since ep. 1. I really don't.
zaylee-72683 I don't understand all the bad reviews ... it's like a contest to see who can slam it the most eloquently. I actually really enjoyed this show because it had fun graphics, represented strong family ties and made attempts at presenting solid moral values. Some people on here are complaining that Aftermath is unbelievable, but it isn't supposed to be - it is fantasy science fiction for the fun of it. Just relax, kick back, chill out and watch it just for the fun of it. It isn't supposed to be taken seriously. I for one hope the network brings back a second season to give closure on what it was all about and why people were getting sucked up into the swirling hole in the sky - terrible way to end the show with so many unanswered questions.
kot426 I put this up there with The Strain and The Exorcist. I am a supernatural fanatic and this is really in line with what I like. Some humans gone mad, some humans possessed by demons and then the other supernatural beings, also. And not to mention the end of days and the natural phenomenons. All supernatural fans should really enjoy this show. It's not about flying zombies or any other idiot thing that some have written. I enjoy this show and I hope more do, too. This show should have a higher rating on this site, especially when you look at the rigged ratings of, let's say, LaLa Land and The Arrival.
Nick OK, so I have completed the entire first season of this show, and it started out sketchy. I kept an open mind and it turned out to be pretty good. If your looking for an award winning performances or great storytelling, this is NOT the show for you. But if you are a apocalyptic fan who needs a quick show to binge, this IS for you. The show is somehow entertaining, even after the terrible acting, and overall mediocre filming... If you keep an open mind, this show will pleasantly surprise you. But if you are looking for something that will knock your socks off or you are a 'movie snob,' then this is not the show for you, and move on to the next show...
