Reviews

Scott Just watched airport 75 the move and saw little Ponch. He's all grown up now but still looks good despite his age. This is a great show and I'm glad they included him in it. I wish he would do more acting then these silly infomercials I always see him on.This show is quite different then the typical "cops" show. There is some good talent on this cast as well. I hope it catches on!!! Tell your friends that Ponch is back. Strange how John never was remembered like good ol' Ponch. I have my DVD Recorder to always record upcoming shows so I don't miss them. Keep up the good work! Thanks for the Entertainment. Scott
sparky178 What a poor image of Professional Police Officers is displayed on the Television in the watching of this alleged Reality show. One can only hope that the actual reasonable suspicion that leads to probable cause that leads to the totality of the circumstances involved to make a "stop" , then the "Pat Down" of the outside of one's Garment, then to be able to articulate why the officer went into someone's pocket and retrieved contraband, was cut out of the scenes, because if it wasn't, the arrest in most places are going to be tossed, should they even get passed a supervisor. A report of a warrant over the radio does not constitute the actual existence of the warrant unless the person dispatching has the original warrant in hand. If the dispatcher is reading from a computer printout, it is good enough for an arrest, but it does not necessarily mean the warrant is still in effect. Since I haven't seen a Dis-claimer from CBS (I may have missed it), CBS could be in trouble.
averial I'm originally from Muncie, Indiana and my husband works for CBS, so I have to admit that is why I originally wanted to check this show out. That and Erik Estrada. But what girl growing up in the 70's didn't have "Ponch" hanging up on their Bedroom wall :] So of course I had to watch "Ponch" trying to be a "REAL" cop. I wasn't quite sure how good this show was going to be, but I was at least very interested in checking it out. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and that this show was very tastefully done. I totally enjoyed watching it. They all seemed to really take this experience seriously while still having a good time doing it. Nothing was to over the top. Jack has proved himself to be a much better person then he was in his earlier years. He showed talent and compassion. I have to say that I was quite impressed with Jack. I totally LOVED watching LaToya experience some average life experiences. I loved her determination and enjoyment in getting to participate in this experience. It was almost like watching a child walk for the first time. Jason, Erik and Trish were also great. They too all showed determination and compassion. If you blew this show off because you thought it was going to be another one of those funny\stupid shows, I think that you should at least give it a try. You may be pleasantly surprised too. I'll be watching!!
Holly I'm from Muncie, I loved the show. I was not a naysayer. I mean, if they show Muncie in a bad light, they show what's really there. I liked being able to point out some of the different places and areas of town they were responding to. I knew one of the people in the very first episode, so that amused me as well.I was able to find (probably intentional) an error! The site noted as the Muncie Police Academy is the gym of my former high school (still in operation!) But you can forgive them for that kind of creative liberty. LaToya asking for a tablecloth and a finger bowl at an establishment where spitting peanut shells on the floor-- hilarious! I'm glad the recruits took their jobs seriously and I'm happy with the entertainment it brought me!
