Reviews

burksmegan This is a great informative show. I like how we are seeing inside and "behind the scenes" of some high profile cases that we may have heard of in the past. In order to be rated higher, I would like to see the result of their investigative work. Such as arrests, incarceration, seizures, search warrants, etc. OR... have some episodes of Breaking Homcide resulting in the apprehension of these criminals. Or even... at the end of the season have one episode dedicated to short tibdits of the follow through of the local PDs. I completely understand if PDs cannot discuss because it's ongoing but heck, that's a great sign it's in progress. That would absolutely be top notch. From the Michelle case (season 1, episode 1), viewing this episode left us angry, frustrated and annoyed that the alleged was not convicted or apprehended. I continue to search on the web for a follow up. And I'm left disappointed. BUT... Overall, great show! I will continue to observe their in-depth work from home.
zaster-76772 They always just agree with whatever the police have already concluded. They don't have any new evidence or special access. I also agree with the other reviews that they pump up the emotional drama in an insincere way. I love most ID shows but this one's weak.
kellymcl-06479 This was the only episode I watched. I was reading an article, that the civil jury found Adam Shacknai liable for Rebecca Zahau's death. Their attorney is going to petition the sheriff's department to "reopen the case to declassify it as a suicide and reclassify it as an open investigation. They will have different sheriff's investigating. That being said, I thought they were wrong in their conclusion, when I saw this episode. I feel they did not have the right to tell the mother and friends, what they thought. They did not let us here all of the 911 call , nor other important evidence. Therefore I am very disappointed in this show and feel like they do not do a thorough job. I was hoping I would like the show.
farahandjo First, I want to make it clear that I love ID and all of their series. However, I am surprised that this terrible show is on ID. I agree with the others in regard to Derricks's fake crying: it is uncomfortable to watch and I feel like the victim's family is being exploited when he does this.I get an insincere and opportunistic vibe from both Derrick and Kris. I feel like the victims' families are given false hope, and it hurts me to have to see the families re-tell their stories just to get the same answers they had before.I will not be watching this show again. Sorry.
