Irishchatter I was honestly in love with this series, you always wanted to know what happens next at every episode! I just wonder if Dracula and Mina finally became a couple cause like they would look absolutely adorable together! I wanted to see if Jonathan save Mina and stop Dracula in taking over the world! I felt gutted that Renfield and Lady Jane were killed off the show because they were such legends. Even though, I didn't understand why people think it wasn't a good idea but I thought it was!I am proud to have watched this series if only it aired more longer!

Lex R. I do not care that it does not follow the original Dracula story. It has a great plot and it had me hooked from beginning to end. The acting gave me shivers and the decor was astonishing. The story has a lot of unexpected moves, and also some funny clichés. It is a whole new look on the tale, it still shows a lot of Dracula's mercilessness but also his compassionate side and his deep desires. You have no idea how the story will unfold and where it will take you. When I started watching the first season I did not realise there was no second season, this was quite a disappointment for me. I hope they will change their minds and continue this series, because it is outstanding.However, I wish that in the next season (if there ever comes one) they should really elaborated on the background story of Alexander.

draculagrayson I am not a huge lover of new shows, to be honest I only checked out Dracula as some of my favourite actors, Katie McGrath and JRM were in it. Boy am I glad I checked out the show. From the moment it begins it hypnotises you with stunning sets, costumes, amazing acting, some fabulous lines such as "when it comes to dreams, the only way to falter is to abandon them." The role of Dracula seems a perfect fit for Jonathan Rhys Meyers, for me it is of any role he has had the one that suits him best. He is fantastic as Dracula, flawless.I love how the series takes us in ways from the book Dracula with amazing twists and turns which are unpredictable. When you find these out you gasp. I love how even though it is different from the book in ways as the series 1 goes to the end it begins to turn and bring us back to more book plots. It leaves me after every episode wanting more, every actor/actress in this show were amazing.It is a unique masterpiece in my eyes that captivated me from the second I switched it on. It brings us back to the origins of vampires, it is sleek, sexy, drama filled, suspense filled, perfectly written by Cole Hadden. For me every actor/actress was well chosen for their roles. It finished series1 with so many unanswered questions, plot twists beginning fans cannot believe it has been cancelled. illustriouslogos An amazing show that really captured my heart it was something original and spun in its own way. It wasn't too raunchy and the violence was very well filmed. The actors are all amazing and every character is enthralling in their own ways. I can't believe such an amazing show has been canceled when shows with far too much 'raunchiness' for my taste have been revered and have carried on into their fourth or fifth season. I will admit it did start off slightly slow but once I gave it a chance I was enthralled by it.
