Reviews

cinephile-27690 This was my favorite show before. Now this is just alright. There are some jokes about how dumb the kids are. I'm watching "Capture the Nag" now and the elevator breaks. Emma, after Jessie says they should use the stairs, asks "what if the stairs don't work?" Some of the jokes numb the mind, so my 19 year old mind is not really into in it anymore.
bcindeed The Following May Contain Spoilers This show is decent for all family viewing the reason I say decent is some people may not appreciate the levels of rude humor through out, meaning jokes that characters make at the expense of another character. and there is some disrespect in this series to, so long as kids know not to treat people with disrespect then I trust this title with all ages.there are also run-ins with stereotypes but at the same time its all fictional and can be seen as a joke in and of itself if you don't take it to seriously though it can be annoying at times.overall while this series isn't to highly realistic, its still good for a few laughs and remembers sentiment when it needs to and is enjoyable! for a more classic approach to the same concept would be the 90's sitcom the nanny which would be worth a shot in my humble opinion
sonicthehedgehog-56947 The reason I didn't give Jessie a one star rating is because of Bertram(Kevin Chamberlin), Bertram's emotions towards the kids in the show relate to mine except mine are much much darker. ever since Suite Life on Deck ended it seemed like Debby Ryan's acting career was dying she didn't really fit that violent role she played in the show but my main problem is how annoying and stereotypical the kids are(Zuri is the one I have the most problem with) Emma: A blonde who is not surprisingly unintelligent, the only things her brain is thinking of is Clothes, Cute Boys, and Makeup and it sickens me. Ravi: isn't as bad as the others but that's another stereotype, Ravi is an Asian and Asians at my school always do the best and Ravi just happens to be the smartest kid in the cast. Zuri: My personal least favorite character and actor in Disney Channel, Zuri is so stereotypical acting all sassy and bossy and I am black BTW and I don't act like that at all, Zuri is the most annoying character in the cast in my opinion and I can't stand to watch her in any of the shows anymore, she even got the chance to reprise her role in Disney's Bunk'd (like that's even better) it sickens me to see that the new female Iron Man (I never liked Riri Williams even before I knew she was based off of Skai Jackson) is based off of her. Luke: Luke is supposed to be the cool one emphasis on "supposed" all Luke cares about is fooling around and that's another stereotype, the fact that the coolest one in the cast is always inexplicably immature(Farts everywhere and doesn't care who smells, or notices)
josiew2 This is the worst show I've seen and trust me I've seen bad ones. Oh I hate these crummy characters.Jessie: so annoying. I mean get a life. You're not gonna become famous and the whole " I'm a military chick" act is not funny and it's cliché. She can't control the kids and Morgan and Christina should fire her. Plus Debby Ryan is the worst Disney actress in history and her hair is annoying and she's not pretty people OK?!Zuri: what a jerk! She is lazy, rude, selfish, not funny, unnecessary, and just makes me want to scream. The whole sassy backbreaking " I'm tough and black" vibe is just sickening. It doesn't work. I hope this girl falls in a pit of vipers. Ravi: he's OK. Like the accent is so darn fake and I hate the " I'm Indian and you're all idiots" thing is getting old, but I like how he's smart and gets bullied instead of bullying. Luke: hatred of him is essential. Like he is vomit inducing. The kid hits on girls in a vulgar disgusting manner and doesn't do any work, yet thinks he's all that. Go die in a hole or I'll do it rather than watch Luke do his " hi I'm a bully but I hit on girls rudely so like me" mannerisms. Emma: what the heck is wrong with this childs brain y'all? She's so mega stupid and cares about nothing except clothes, lip gloss, and her own wants. Like get a life and go through therapy to gain a few brain cells. Her whole act of " I'm pretty so don't care that I'm an idiot" is awful. Overall, this show stinks of stereotypes, ugliness, bad acting, rude scripts, bad manners, idiocy, lazy meanies, and gross punch lines. It depends on hoping kids are as brain dead as the characters. Not a chance Disney. Not a chance
