I have always been a big fan of Louis C.K., which is why I put off watching this and Lucky Louie for so long.I have seen enough bad TV to know that most stand-up comedians do terrible sitcoms and I hate to be disappointed.Wouldn't you know it, this may be the worst TV show a comedian has ever done.It makes Ellen look like comedy gold.I really don't understand how this show is so popular.Even if you aren't looking for laughs, this show has nothing to offer.Just a sad old man wandering the streets and being a bad father. It's not entertaining at all.Maybe C.K. means Comedy Killer? If you feel the urge to watch this crap go watch Lucky Louie instead. That was a real TV show.

This show is about as understated as it gets. In fact, this show raises humbleness to an art. That is how it seemed to me at first, but as the seasons developed I grew to understand the continuous rhythm and juxtaposition of the elements of the series reveals a poetry that makes you feel more at home and appreciative of being human. It is definitely no ode to humanity, it rather tends to poke at society's shortcomings. Yet, at the same time it reveals the tenderness of the Individual who is unaffected by the trappings. Louis biggest shortcoming is that he judges himself as unworthy when confronted with an opportunity to compare himself to the rich and beautiful, elite New York society. In reality, Louis has it all and finds himself in more interesting relationships and situations than what one person is generally afforded in one day. It is precisely his lack of appreciation for his situation that makes it easier for me as a viewer to adore and be enthusiastic for his journey through the adult world.

I saw just Louis C.K's stand up and it was just amazing so I started watching Louie.I just like that kinda of humour. I didn't read about this show and have no idea what to expect.Louie is very funny show, and not usual humour you seen in thousand other humoristic TV shows. It's quite unique, quirky sometimes, weird, and even in moments surrealistic. In later season (4) is more realistic and more bitter sweet and full happy and sad moments, but those are in same ammont so it's cool.Even people complain about season 4,it's just what has to be,life is not only full of joy but sadness. There is swearing and adult themes and uncomfortable moments but If you bothered by that, you need to just grow effin up.I'm totally addicted and I would be very very sad, like my whole family died in horrible accident,If Louie was ever cancelled. It would break my heart. I hope for at least 10 more seasons?Just saying... :)
