Reviews

djburton-1 This show punches well above its weight, and clearly from the negative responses, well above the heads of most. The writing is sharp, the humour is - in spite of its absurdity -quite nuanced and sophisticated, at times the equal of the best writing in Arrested Development or Archer. A sign of the times that a show of this quality can't make it past one season.
Max Yo Love this show! A lot of similarities to my childhood and father figure. Great job of combining animation with reality and using it to set up humor. Every episode had a theme but also created a nice storyline that I wanted to continue following. Character development was also really well done. Hope to see Season 2 soon!
kianaforbush I find this show to be highly racist, not funny at all by all of the blindsided Offensive comments being made to a audience who actually is trying to find pore entertainment to questioning what are the directors and casting companies trying to display here. The visualization of animation and real life drama was awesome but the narrative of the plot was just a all around coincident. This is the world we live and so many broadcasting companies have been pulling of these kind of sitcoms for years unnoticed or not spoken on by the audience that should destroy the career and showing of these episodes on national TV. Sorry I'm waiting for the cancellation of this particular show and wait for maybe more moderate malignant representation of good behavior
MovieHoliks So far I've watched the first two episodes of this new Fox Sunday night show, and -to my surprise- not impressed so far. I believe that is Jason Sudeikis as the voice of the animated barbarian "He-man"-type lead character, and the actor playing his son was just on the first season of "Superstore", only with a stache? LOL Cheryl Hines and Will Meadows round out the cast as the mom and step-dad. I read another user post; something about why even make the lead character animated? And that is a very good point. I think maybe the show creators wanted to make reference to shows like "He-man" from the '80s, I dunno? But just not very funny at all thus far. And too bad; I was really looking forward to this show :/
