heatherlymc I totally love this show. Being 46 I can relate to Liza loving both men. I need more!!! Please turn into a 60 min show tp develop the relationships further.

bmari-24060 A very shallow, empty series about a woman who pretends to be a lot younger than she is to gain employment.In the right hands, through the creation of interesting, relatable characters and clever witty dialogue, the premise could have made for a very successful show.However, the reality is that the writing is flat and dull. The dialogue is stilted, unnatural and tries way too hard to be youthful. The characters are caricatures of real people and certainly not people you would find anywhere other than in the pages of infantile teenage romance novels. The female characters are not believable as smart, successful women as they come across as bitchy, vapid, desperate and desperately loose. In a nut shell, they are as thick as bricks and completely unrelatable, therefore you never truly do care about them or any of their love interests.There is not one iota of chemistry between ANY of the characters,and certainly none between any of the females and their love interests, therefore one cannot root for any of the relationships. And seriously, could the casting directors choose male leads with any less charm and appeal than the characters they chose to portray Charles and Josh? There is not even a hint of eye candy to make this show more palatable. The story line is silly and sickly sweet.These women just manage to miraculously discover bestsellers and true love wherever they go, success falling on their laps as they are soo brilliant, despite acting the exact opposite. I mean, Kelsey and Liza even manage to have huge success publishing a book about thoughts from a dog's perspective. I mean, seriously? Do the writers even have a clue about their subject material, the world of publishing, and just how hard and non glamorous it truly is?Sex and the city had female writers who would provide their real life experiences as fodder for the script and story line. Obviously, these women do not write for this show, nor any woman for that matter,otherwise this foolish series would have a ring of truth to it. Instead it is just ridiculous, implausible, amoral and vulgar.It Darren Star hadn't had great success with Sex and the City, this nonsense would not have even been aired.

Simran Kaur Loved this show. It is so refreshing and you feel comfortable watching this show anytime. Lovely, lovely idea!!!! Funny, funny and fun. I love the heroine of this show and love the intelligence behind the TV writing. If you haven't seen this show see it at least once. The outfits are amazing and if it was likened to Sex and the City I would say quite rightly so. Witty and fun but quite different.
