atinder I have always seen this in the shop and I never picked up before as I thought it sound like and looked like a really bad b-movie.I found this B-movie really enjoyable, the acting is not that good, however it fit in.There were some really good scare moments, that worked really well, As I did not expect ar all.I wish they showed the Bigfoot a bit less, the parts of the movie see parts of him, found it be little scary, when we finally see the whole Bigfoot. It's was too bad, i found it little to goofy and not scary. they could of made him look a lot more scary.Harry looks more scary this Bigfoot and I love Harry Hendderson 6 out of 10 good b-movie
elliott78212 I had a hard time finding this movie but after a few tries glad I found it, who knew SyFy actually had some great horror debuts on its network. A friend told me about this movie after seeing Matt McCoy in some other film, its both suspenseful and scary the creature is convincing if not excellently rendered and for a low budget movie manages to make the best out of what its got.Genre veterans Lance Henrikson and Jeffrey Combs, make a brief but light cameo appearance as food for the monster beyond that Matt McCoy's performance carries the movie solidly thru to the end. I heard there is an unrated version which might provide some much needed gore but the movie is satisfying as a horror movie without it, 6 stars out of 10 for taking two horror film types and merging them nicely, sprinkle in a few scares and touches of comedy and you have a low budget b-movie hit. See it or buy it in the bargain bin.
ebiros2 The movie is not an intellectual rendition of Big Foot, but portrays it as a savage killer.Group of people spending their time out in the cabin and forest gets mauled by the Big Foot. One guy on a wheel chair witnesses it, but his dumb attendant thinks he's imagining things. Police are very apathetic even when they get the calls.Everything is very artificial in this movie including the cinematography. The story, the portrayal ,all screams fake including the very artificial way they up the suspense. All this makes this movie unbelievable in an unpalatable way.So thumbs down for this Big Foot movie.
Exonitor Breen Abominable has been laughed off as a ridiculous movie because of its monster graphics. Compared to many monsters nowadays, the beast is truly creepy looking. The suspense builds up wonderfully, when Preston is left alone in the dark cabin and the bushes rustle ominously outside, it is really quite spooky. And when Preston looks out into the woods, and those eyes are staring right back, and when he turns and it is leering right into the room at him...Jeez i wouldn't go near a window or into the woods at night. The opening sequence was quite scary in my opinion, and it set up the suspense well. Some of the filler space between scare scenes got a little boring, but the video Preston watches was genius, i'll quote a piece for you.Interviewer: "So your saying that what we are dealing with is...Bigfoot?"Professor: "No, the Bigfoot is nothing like this. Bigfoot doesn't pull apart cars or tear down brick walls. And its bigger, this thing is like the Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas."When the police come and evacuate Preston, and they go to search for the body of the Creature, and the find the body gone, I got chills of fear; then when they hear something and look into the bushes, and you see the glowing eyes of at least seven other monsters, growling from the trees, I went "Oh Shi-"But absolutely greatest of its traits is the inventive types of gore the movie has. The "facebite" scene will forever be immortalized in my mind. And the ending, well; if you have not seen it yet, i wont spoil it for you. But it is epic.
