They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother. .......................................................................................... I give this movie 5/10I really liked the other alvin and the chipmunks movies. So I watch this one and I have to say I dont really like how this movie started, it didnt really feel like alvin and the chipmunks. It didnt feel like the old alvin and the chipmunks. And I think if they did this a few years eralyer it would of felt like Alvin and the Chipmunks and it had been 4 years stins they made Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked and they'd lost it the feel to it.The plot started off slow and didn't make sense why the chipmunks were no longer performing but soon everything made sense and the characters' mot-ives were clear.The animation of the three chipmunks was really good, but the visual effects that blend them with the real-world backdrops are mostly badThe jokes and sight gags wasn't very funny, the chipmunks aren't as entertaining as they usually are and their performances lacked creativity and energy They some of the characters felt cliché and dry. I have to say I really hated Miles because he bullies and abuses the chipmunks but deep down you can see he is in pain and has issues that he needs to work on I was sad that ian didn't come back for this sequel. He was the best part of the previous installments. The guy replacing him as the 'villain' wasn't nearly as funny. But my favourite scene was with the new villain in this movie who is this guy called James who is a mean air marshal and he is trying to be the best at his job and then the chipmunks comes in and basically ruin it I like this movie because It teaches a good lesson about family and trust and some of the sences maded me smile and I think its a good movie but I really thought there would be more laugh out loud moments, I thought there was very few even funny scenes. the comedy has changed. Now the comedy is'nt very good and before it was just regular kids stuff.I see this movie trying to keep up with people my age as Alvin and the Chipmunks came out in 2007 and I was 8 at the time and with this movie I can see it ageing up bit. In this movie there is quite a lot of alcohol and clubbing screen time and the on-duty air marshal is offered two different drinks containing moonshine and there are Some lyrics that are suggestive and Some flirting and jokes about who's "hot." and there is couples that embraces and kisses and some dirty dancing which is not appropriate for children which is rated U which means suitable for audiences aged four years and over I did like some of the music that was used

tlmylm I'm by no means a fan of the ''Alvin and the Chipmunks'' film, I didn't really hate the first film, but I really hated the second film, and the third film was bad, too. So I wasn't excited at all when I heard a 4th film was coming out, and after watching it, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT THAT THIS FILM IS THE WORST IN THE SERIES.Let's start with the story. It's bland, predictable, and just awful, like the other films in the series, which all had terrible stories, but this film has the worst of them all.Then there's the writing, which is also abysmal, too. It focuses too much on unfunny humor(which I will talk about later), and cringe worthy pop culture references, too, which is NOT GOOD. Really.And then there's the humor, and wow, it's filled to the brim with potty humor, which makes it VERY UNFUNNY. It also doesn't help that the chipmunks are back, too. Yeah, they are annoying, like always, but this film easily shows them AT THEIR WORST. Yeah, the Chipettes do return in this film as well, but they have very little screen time, and that actually might be a good thing. CAUSE I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THESE HIGH PITCHED VOICES OVER AND OVER AGAIN! And the less I say about the musical numbers(which are just really bad chipmunk versions of modern day pop songs), THE BETTER! I'm not saying much for the acting, because by the time we get to the 4th film, you can already tell how bland it is.The only good thing about the film are the CGI effects, which are now done by the masters at Weta Digital. Yeah, the chipmunks still look like they're in the uncanny valley, but I think the effects and animation look seamless and very well done. It's just too bad they have annoying characters to work with.Wow. I can't believe how abysmal this film is. Aside from the CGI effects, everything about this film is very shoddy in their own level. Please. Save your time and money and DO NOT SEE THIS FILM.And to end this review, I'm going to end with what Jason Lee(as Dave) says at each and every film. ''ALVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'' (To be honest, this film really deserves a 0.5/10, but the lowest IMDb can give is a 1/10. So there.)

brooomc I can not believe how this great family movie is so underrated despite the fact it is a terrific movie.Me and my dear son Muhammad enjoyed watching this perfect family movie from the beginning to the end. The low ratings does not clearly prove that the film is bad.Also,the negative comments by movie critics and IMDb critics don't necessarily mean that this movie is bad at all.It is important to tell you that this film: "Alvin and The Chipmunks:The Road Chip" is currently achieving enormous international success at the movie box office. In the USA,it is a new entry at number 2 and elsewhere,it is number 1.(This is a very good evidence that despite the low rating,the movie is successful ).Finally,I advise every person whether an adult or a child who want a fantastic comedy/adventure movie is to see this movie and you will be quite happy.

The movie is the greatest and I am specially liked the part where singing. They were singing good in the movie i hope they can sing Alvin Christmas in Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. wow. This movie is. I hope they sing next year when I hate MArs bars when they go into a deep void of space that nobody has ever traveled to before and creatures of all different sizes come together to balance the impurities of the universe. They gaze into the glass ball and discover that leafy is still making you tube commentary videos and cringe at the sight of it. The cancer is spreading fast through the bodies of his subscribers. They pushed a button and disease spread through the voids of space towards Earth to stop the abomination leafy.
