Well I didn't hate the movie as much as other reviewers. Could it be that I am new to Bollywood movies, just started watching them because of Netflix, and to me this movie was pretty original?.I indeed liked the idea of the movie. How a car thief steals the car from the girl he is in love with and tries to steal it back. It also involves some criminals and cops so there is a lot going on.The movie felt a bit too stretched. 2.5 hours for this is a bit too much, one could do it faster if they didn't have all the scenes of him telling her how he loves her and her telling he is shameless and should disappear.Some things also made no sense. Like Babli was considered one of the best car thieves? Yet he seemed to be horrible with it from the start. A good thief would not steal it in front of several people, get the whole police in town after him. And even stop show them the real ID and even tell his whole story. He was an amateur at best. I also don't get why Tara changes her mind about him. So when she finds out he is not a mechanic but thief who stole her car she loves him. What?.Yet besides the issues listed above which caused me to remove points from the movie I was still entertained. I didn't find it very funny. Like there weren't many individual jokes that I considered great. But the movie had for the most part a very light hearted action atmosphere that keep one in a good mood. The actors were also pretty good. Ranbir Kapoor is very charismatic. The dance and singing scenes were pretty energetic and well done. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh were also great as the police couple. Actually I think they had the scenes that actually made me laugh!

in simple terms if you are movie watcher who highly focused on acting, intelligent jokes etc etc, then this is not the one for you.if you are more than satisfied by stupid jokes and stuff, then this will be a 10/10 for you.on the other hand if you are a movie fan like me, i mean you love brilliantly acted, brilliantly directed movies with awesome plot and also you enjoy movies with weak plots with weak acting and directing then this will be in a range between 5/10-6/10 for you.in another perspective if you gave "Chennai express'' a 9/10 or more then you will enjoy this.Finally guys... its not easy to make a movie and still they manage to give us this for our entertainment. give them some credit for that. watched BESHARAM ..I am not quite sure that its makers are filthy rich..well even if they are they can't be very rich after this flick..cause its awful...its like they just wake up one day & said ""hey guys lets make a movie today..& while we'r at it lets make it with the best cast in the industry(today)..& songs put sh!tload of songs in it..story?? f**k story..just make a movie"" this kinda attitude of makers slaps you in the face while watching it...I'm not fan of retard n double meaning Comedy/ies but this is way worse than those(least they do their best)..BUT they these people wasted their extremely talented cast with their sh!t plot n script(still cast did what they could_I gave it 2* just cause of them) AND more importantly 2+hours of your life...it has nothing, nothing to watch I say _DO NOT WATCH_ no matter what happens

To be very honest, i was waiting for this movie for almost 2-3 months and i was pretty much excited for its release and also did planned to watch it in a nearby cinema. But after the movie got released, from the very first day, i got to see only negative reviews about this movie. i thought it would be worst than Phata Poster Nikla Hero. So i cancelled to watch it in the cinema and downloaded instead. Last night i got to see this movie, well it was bearable to be very honest. The 1st half was gone past that i didn't even realized. The 2nd half dragged a little bit. Could've been shorter, but then it goes that everything is fair in a Bollywood movie. I kinda like the movie just like a normal movie, also i know that it was highly anticipated. But go see the movie yourself and then decide.DO NOT GO ON BAD MOUTHING.
