Steve Pulaski Blue Collar Comedy Tour: One for the Road is a solid closure and a great fix to the bland and dry addition of Rides Again. The performs tackle funnier topics and the end scene where all of them are on stage are the strongest in the trilogy. This is the best of all of the films. It's hard to say what went wrong in the second part. I didn't hate it. But something wasn't on par with the original. When critiquing a comedy special, it's strictly what topics you yourself funny. What you find funny isn't what others do making it hard to efficiently review a special. One for the Road shows the guys at their funniest and that is what it's all about. We start out with Bill Engvall, surprisingly, since he is usually saved for second to last or last in the performances. He is the funniest of everyone talking about impressing fifth grade girls and a stressful trip to the massage parlor. Ron White starts talking about Texas Hold 'Em and the state of awareness scale, and this time, he is actually pretty funny.Usually I grin when Ron White is on stage, but I actually found him very funny during this special. More points. Jeff and Larry close the show with Jeff and Bill being the major highlights of the film. Then, at the very end, as a Blue Collar tradition, they all come out on stage and do something with a theme. This time; telling their favorite jokes and looking at photos they are "not proud of." Just wonderful humor. This is the final special from Engvall, White, Foxworthy, and The Cable Guy. There is another one called Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Next Generation. But from what I hear it's just four other Blue Collar impersonators doing their own shtick using the four guys' humor. I think I'll stop here. One for the Road stands out in the trilogy for discussing the funniest topics and having memorable lines dropped one after another.Just to let you know, if you ask if this is a review of Blue Collar Comedy Tour: One for the Road, I'll say "Nope, it's a review of the DVD cover." Heeeeeeere's your sign! Starring: Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White. Directed by: C.B. Harding.
Mandi Grys Despite Ron White, of whom I dislike because of some of his jokes on the other 2 movies, I loved this movie. Of the 3 movies, I found this one the best. Plus the pictures at the end are funny as heck. I think that was the best way to close out their last show. Jeff Foxworthy gives a lot of good pointers on fashion. Bill has excellent stories this time around and make me laugh each time I watch it. Especially when he talks about his dogs. Awesome. Larry The Cable Guy is funny as always. Not only that but he reveals his wedding ring. He opens his part with his catch phrase of Git-r-done. I love that. His story about the car accident is cool. It is easy to see that he likes to go places and he likes to talk about his sister. It makes you feel better about your own family. Ron is o.k. I do not like him as I stated earlier but he does contribute to the team.
Michael O'Keefe 'Blue collar' and/or 'Red neck' is hilarious and laugh out loud funny. If you sort of tilt in your chair its because you laughed your ass off. These guys are funny enough on their own, but get them together and it is a laugh riot. Some may say it is politically incorrect, offensive and crude...you can't say it is not funny. Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, Bill Engvall and Larry The Cable Guy gives it to you plain and simple and their experiences are definitely a hoot. I was not real impressed with Engvall; Foxworthy seems to change his jokes once in a blue moon; now White and Larry are down right funny. Your eyes will water; you'll lose your breath and your ribs will hurt. You might even smell a dog fart or two...it boils down to...funny is funny; comedy is comedy.
gta3expert1989 This premiered on TV last night on Comedy Central. I missed the first 15 minutes of it because Chinese restaurants are so slow!!!!! But i taped the rest of it and I have to say it was truly hilarious. Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy (whos from my home state of Florida)were all so much funnier then the first two, they'd been caught up in a vicious cycle of telling the same clichéd jokes they've been telling since the stone age. If you missed it DEFINITELY watch it, you will laugh until you vomit. Definitely tape it too, or go to Wal mart some time and pick it up. This is a must have. Like Larry would say "if you don't buy this video then you're a communist, GIT R DONE!!!!
