Wow... just wow. This movie had so much ridiculous comedy and action and managed to avoid being cheesy at all! First off...the main character was so awesome and so perfect for jackie that his character alone makes the movie great. This movie was so overwhelmingly hip and easy to get yourself into, that halfway through the movie i turned to my cat and yelled "KITTY HUNTER"! and scared the crap out of her.The characters were also all really cool and you couldn't help but like them. At first i thought the card throwing dude was cheesy, but soon after i realized how impressively slick and suave he was. The two female agents were both very attractive and very different. Despite few speaking parts their characters were well developed by their actions. The bad guy who worked out in a thong, fought like ken from street fighter, and looked like shawn michaels was really cool and i was disappointed that he didn't get more screen time then he did. The dude that was hitting on jackie's assistant was hilarious. Jackies assistant reminded me too much of his girlfriend from the police story series though, and the rich man's daughter didn't really get too developed or do too much.The action was excellent and the humor was laugh out-loud funny. I have to highly recommend this film for fans of jackie, action, comedy, and hot Asian chicks.

This film is one of the funniest Jackie Chan films I have ever seen! It is full of comic action from start to finish, including a skateboard chase, quirky shopping-center mishaps, a nice tribute to Bruce Lee, and some HK pop song. The parody of the popular "Street Fighter" arcade game was particularly amusing. The whole movie is admittedly a little weird and I can't really describe it well. It has a bit of a Bollywood feel about it, but don't let that put you off. This film is in my opinion, one of the best pieces of Kung Foolery on the planet! If you do have broadband I would suggest that you check out the trailer on the IMDb database as it gives an accurate perception of the movie.

This movie i watched about 2 weeks ago and knew nothing about it except it had Jackie Chan in it. After i watched this movie, i was holding my sides from splitting because it was so funny. The fight scenes were very inventive and also very funny especially when Bruce Lee helps him to fight 2 big black guys and then thanks him and Bruce Lee says "You're Welcome" that line was hell funny. The girls in this movie were a sight for sore eyes and i couldn't believe that Saeba didn't get with the chick he was taking care of for his friend who died. There was only one problem i had watching this movie was that it wasn't well known and i thought "This movie was the best movie I've seen in ages but it wasn't well known". I recommend this movie who likes Jackie Chan movies like me but then again i have always liked Action/Comedy like Demolition Man. My rating 10 out of 10 (highly recommended)Rated M15+ for Aussies for Violence and Sexual References

I bought a 3 DVD box named "Manga in motion" which contained the movies "Story Of Ricky", "Dragon From Russia" and "City Hunter". I watched the two other movies and thought that they were OK, so I didn't expect very much from this movie, I thought it may as well be "OK". The movie starts with a very stupid scene and goes worse and much, much more worse all the time. The humor is very stupid (even for a hong kong movie), and so is the over-acting. I just had to fight to watch the first 30 minutes of the movie. Then, in the end comes the Street fighter scene. I can honestly say that I have never seen anything as stupid and retarded as that scene. That scene almost made me stop watching the movie, but I fought until the end. The movie is without a doubt Jackie Chan's worst movie, and don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Chan. But this kind of a movie is something that I think they shouldn't have done. 2/10 *** WORST JACKIE CHAN MOVIE EVER ***
