Well, we all know it is a low budget movie. But still this one had it all, the lines, the suspense... the gore(almost real gore). It was not colossal like Arnold Vosloo movies, but it had the adventure thing, true dungeon feel. Danny Glover always gets the job done, even with low budget. Not the fancy all effects movies, but it was not boring. Also, there was good camera work, and if you want to have different movie, this one is good...

Reviewed by: Dare Devil Kid (DDK)Rating: 1/5 starsYet another one of those horror movies, where nothing happens for three-fourths of the film, and the eventual payoff is utterly disappointing. Director, Johnny Tabor, is so disillusioned, that he inexplicably chooses to conceal his main protagonist's visage for most of the film. And the unnecessary shaky-cam detracts from most of the proceedings. Screenwriter, Garry Charles, follows closely on the heels of his Director by penning a script that's not only dreary and lackluster, but also lacks a semblance of decent scares.Couldn't believe that Danny Glover was in this. His recent filmography is seriously threatening to obliterate the fairly respectable legacy he had built through the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. He needs to get his act together and realize soon that he isn't yet old enough for this kind of steaming pile of crap.

if it wasn't for Glover being in it i would never have watched it. even the mummy which you don't see till near the end just looks like a bloke quickly wrapped up pretty sure anyone could recreate this with a cheap camera. no idea why i watched it to the end, nothing really happens in the hole film. have no idea how much profit these low budget movies make, only assuming just enough to make there next.Danny Glover is the highest-paid actor in the world, pulling in an astonishing $96 million between November 2013 and November 2014, a nearly $60 million lead over his closest competition.maybe this film was a bigger hit then i realize???with the amount he was in this film im sure he spent the morning in the studio and then on to the next movie. making 22 movies in 2 years im sure that's a pretty busy scheduled. funny how some actors say yes to everything and some cherry pick the better ones, but then i guess hes doing something right.hoping the other 21 movies are better then day of the mummy

One of the biggest loads of crap I've ever seen. 1 hour 15 minutes of my life I will never get back. No signs of any mummies till 57 minutes into the film and even then only saw the mummy for about 15 minutes. The acting was awful the story line was very weak. Pathetic ending. There was no excitement in the film whatsoever. Another home video style movie which made it worse. Even Syfy channel movies are better than this one. I've seen more action in a care bears movie. I am surprised Danny Glover was in it. Do I need to continue to say any more about this load of rubbish. Save your money. Leave it on the shelf. It's not worth watching whatsoever.
