I enjoyed the action and the thrill of the movie.It was better then what the trailer showed. The special effects were great and very will executed. The way the movie ended was great out of this world. The acting was some of the best I have seen in a while. The way the movie opened was so good. For a low budget movie it was well worth ever minute to watch I would have to say that the Director was extremely good and did a very great job on. Robert Kurtzman has always been able to give the audience what the wanted as far as action and gore. Sean Patrick Flanery did such an awesome job Acting along with Joe Pantoliano. I would buy the movie and added it to my collection and tell any one to watch it.

This film kept me entertained from start to finish. It reminded me of "Speed" or "Blown Away" with the same type of tension and suspense throughout the story, with interplay between the cop and the killer. Sean Patrick Flannery did a great job as a cop who rejoins the police force to track his old foe, an assassin played by Joe Pantoliano. The supporting cast, including Greg Serano as the cop's partner and Carmen Serano as an FBI agent also tracking the assassin, did a nice job as well, though they are not as seasoned as Flannery and Pantoliano. The soundtrack was great and really added to the film. This is definitely worth a look on DVD, although I am disappointed it is not going to be released on Blu-Ray.

Director Robert Kurtzman's first foray into the action/thriller genre certainly won't be his last. While I have always enjoyed Kurtzman's horror flicks and magnificent special and make-up effects, I was anxiously awaiting his directorial debut into another type of film. I was not disappointed, as "Deadly Impact" is a solid thriller. Joe Pantoliano plays an assassin who is wreaking havoc on his victims, and Sean Patrick Flannery plays a cop on the team assigned to stop him. As Flannery's character gets closer to finding the assassin, he becomes the object of the assassin's wrath and the cat-and-mouse game begins. The two characters try to outwit and out-think each other up, right up until the very end. Be sure to grab this on DVD for an entertaining movie night.

I don't want to write anything that will spoil this fine feature for movie-goers, so I'll keep it as generic as I can: If you are a fan of action/suspense movies like The Bourne Identity, Die Hard, or Lethal Weapon, grab some popcorn and watch Robert Kurtzman's DEADLY IMPACT. Pitted against a criminal mastermind (Joe Pantoliano) are a psychologically wounded cop (Sean Patrick Flanery) and a fiery Latina FBI Agent (Carmen Serano). If you like fast, well-choreographed, visually stimulating action movies, Deadly Impact really delivers. Veteran horror film-maker Kurtzman knows how to get the most from his actors, and Flanery, Serano, and Pantoliano prove this as Kurtzman jumps into the action/suspense world in a very big way, making Alexander Vesha's story a movie-screen roller-coaster you won't want to miss.
