Just another attempt to be shocking in the name of "art" by Lars von Trier. Mr von Trier story has as much relevance to what its like to be a boy trying to navigate the tricky path to manhood in modern America then Kim Wilde did in her 80's pop song kids in America. they both had the same depth. at least Ms. Wilde had a catchy beat. why not stick to what you know. Tell a story about Europe and tons of nudity and the critics will trip over all too many flaccid penis to say how brave and what a genius you are ugh skip this one

This was easily one of the worst movies I've ever had the misfortune of watching. The movie did have promise and could (should) have been much better but it just failed in every attempt. The acting was horrid, the story line was crap and it just dragged out forever (or so it felt). I know a lot of people will read this and automatically respond " well he just didn't get it"...no, I got it perfectly fine, but that doesn't change it into a good movie, in fact it just underlines how bad this movie is, that with so many ideals, points and views about guns and kids this movie just fails to deliver them in any type of way that makes it worth watching.

What a stupid movie! It feels like it is going on for ages and it goes nowhere. The director, haven't heard of him in my life, I have to say did not such a bad directing, or editing for that matter. The cast was pretty god as well, Jamie Bell outstanding as usual, Chris Owen and Danso Gordon weren't bad at all, but all that could not give the rubbish script any substance or save that disaster of a movie.Clearly there is a moral of the whole story-guns don't kill people, people do, but I bet there was far more interesting way to point that out. A bunch of kids sharing the same love for firearms and exit wounds, playing cowboys pacifists could lead to one thing and one thing only- someone will get killed. It was a bit too violent that they all got shot so mercilessly and pointlessly, putting all that nonsense to an end. How this movie got rating 6.5 I will never know! What a waste of time and money! ...

Thomas Vinterberg surprised a lot of people(included me)with his second movie called Festen. But,after Festen,he went from making an excellent movie to making a pathetic movie like It's all about love.I had a lot of expectations with Dear Wendy,Vinterberg's most recent film. The plot sounded really good. But Dear Wendy was a very big deception for me.This movie is very pretentious and boring.Lamentably, the movie had good potential because the weapon's theme is very interesting to develop, but on this movie it is developed really bad.Only Bill Pullman's performance on this movie is good, because the other performances are really mediocre. In summary, don't waste your time nor your money on this film.
