Don't listen to the naysayers. Most of them are probably anti-Muslim and don't want the Muslim director and writer to be successful with this independent effort. Yes, it is very much like a television series pilot movie. And what's wrong with that? We all like TV even when we pretend otherwise.Good TV shows are hard to find. If this had been successful, it would have been closely like Supernatural, only more serious instead of campy cute guys one-lining their way through disasters. Jinn, or Djinn, have an interesting history in our ancient literature, and not just from Muslim sources, although I believe it may have started from there. Ancient Hebrew also have literature regarding the Jinn. If you watched Noah with Russell Crowe, you would have seen a major reference to the Jinn. It is, indeed, a part of our ancient stories of our beginnings which has been forgotten.True? I dunno. But definitely fun. Too bad so many stinkers had to rate this as if it should have been a blockbuster film instead of a really good potential TV series. Some folks are real wet blankets.Watch it, rate it, and maybe someone in power will decide to give it a go.

Same scenes revisited, same kinda good effects with OK sound fx... but still...this film blew. I have a long standing record with films of the bizarre, nasty, horrifying, dangerous and kinky...this film was trash. Even a friend of mine whom is a far...faar bigger buff of the various darker genres than I would say the same.What could have been a grand tale about one of the pre existing beings upon our world since eldritch times was pitiful. This was not scary in the least, and played out more like a cross between constantine and hellboy in a pathetic way.Avoid or lose the hour and a half of your life, and never recover it . 2/10 is the best I can give this, if nothing else but for the actors efforts. A film is still a trying project to complete.

One of the reviewers said "we are living in a world that loves HungerGames/Twilight and hates Prometheus" that will sum up all the 1 star reviews.Surprisingly this movie has a better story than most of the garbage that has been regurgitated by Hollywood over the past decade.Yes some of the acting and directing has much to be desired, but overall is an interesting story.I thought that even the thought of unified religion coming from a Muslim might put him on the chopping block but maybe I was wrong... or maybe that is the reason he introduced the idea after the end of the movie credits started rolling in...Anyway good effort!

Worst movie i've seen in a long time.Bad acting, pointless dialogs and it was so random and made no sense at all.. What a mess. Avoid this at all cost! The trailer totally fooled me, it looked like it was gonna be awesome. i should've known better.. Can't believe i was able to finish the movie.. i wouldn't watch this again even if i was paid. I have no clue how Serinda Swan accepted this project.. ô_O An amazing actress like her needs to be in way better movies than this garbage.Rating is currently 4.8 .. lol really?? it doesn't deserve more than a 3.. and i'm being nice.
