iamlandlooker This movie is so good and so funny. Almost everyone who has been to prison will love this movie, because so many things are so right on. Do not listen to these nutless sacks who say it is clichés. They are the ones who get f*cked when they get sent up. I think everyone should have to do some time to see what the truth is in racial relationships as well as authorities conduct of martial law. There would be no more of this politically correct crap, which is only a twisting of the truth to make good bad and bad good. Evilness legislated as holiness. These are anti-Christ laws. For that matter there would be a lot less politicians. They would string those bastards up and down from pennsylvania avenue to wall street. But in reality you find out that the blacks will murder most of themselves and every other race. The mexicans will murder the next most. Then the asians who like stabbing even on the streets. Finally the civilized white race who just don't seem to have the murderousness of the rest as if they had a different creator. All of the situations are portrayed in just the right way though as to be hysterical. Wonderful writing, directing, and acting. I would give them 10 stars if they would send me some of that hooch.
TheFunkyBass This film had an awful intro song, which is the wort first impression a movie can have. The plot line is one of the dummest and unconvincing story lines I've seen.Despite that, it had some funny moments. The production value was very low, the punching sound effects were unrealistic. The only good thing of the movie was the plot twist in the end, I didn't expect one at all.The movie really didn't go anywhere from there. It seemed as if the whole movie was made as long as possible just for the plot twist. And the reveal isn't very exiting either.Overall, it's meh.5/10
Jennifer Clapton This movie is hilarious, some people are so hard to please. First of all, Dax Shepard's character is hilariously named Lyshitski. Dax kinda' annoys me, I do think he's funny so I don't understand why that is. It might be because he's dating Kristen Bell and I never understood her appeal. Also, he looks like a ped0 next to her so that might be another reason. But anyway, he's funny in this movie. As for the guy that played, Biederman.....bravo, great performance. He does a great job at playing scared shiteless. Lastly, the warden's speech in the beginning when they first get to prison is so funny I had to rewind it so I could see it again.
poe426 Chi McBride steals the show in this one, but credit must go, too, to the writers and the director: LET'S GO TO PRISON takes us boldly where no behind-bars bromance has ever taken us before- and does so hilariously. The frank, matter-of-fact acceptance of the hero/victim of his own plight when he is framed speaks volumes; it's almost as if it's a given that all Big Business higher-ups are corrupt (and the only real difference is the small matter of degree). Once behind bars, he takes to his new situation readily enough and it's here that LET'S GO TO PRISON ventures into heretofore uncharted territory. The budding bromance with Chi McBride is fun to watch- and the movie never once backtracks or tries to talk its way out of it: it's an accepted part of life behind bars (though it's seldom mentioned, except in SCARED STRAIGHT situations) (and you thought punks wearing their pants at half-mast do so because they're emulating men behind bars who have no belts...)... LET'S GO TO PRISON never punks out.
