If anyone ever sees me standing outside a theater, ready to enter a movie this bad... kill me! The unfortunate side of this review is that I watched it on Netflix or something of the sort. I was alone, and I didn't have the guts to impale myself on a spike.The cover art for this movie is the allure to anyone that wants to watch this flick. An attractive nurse in latex, riding a hypodermic needle... That is the only thing interesting about this movie.The story line was not so bad, but the acting by the star has to be one of the worst jobs since Angie Everhart's job in Bordello of Blood or Elizabeth Berkley in Showgirls... I truly wished someone would break into my home and steal my television while I was watching this movie. it would have helped.The shocking part of this production is that they actually had a $10m budget. Seriously? It never occurred to anyone to just invest the money into something else? I've spent enough of my time on this review for this flick... It's not worth one second more.

I found the first hour of this movie a quirky and erotic thriller. Abby, the main character, is odd and has this purposeful awkwardness that Paz de la Huerta plays well. Google her name in images and you will find that she probably didn't have difficulties preparing for this part. Was there some gore in this first hour? It was quite soft and quite disappointing. However, the last 20mins is when it all picked up for me. I was reminded of Carrie for some strange reason, in addition to Melinda May from S.H.I.E.L.D and Morticia Addams.I don't have much to say about the other actors because, for me, they were just supporting roles, including her 'interest' Danni (Katrina Bowden). I also found those actors to have very rigid, stereo- typical characteristics that were too flat for my liking. I think the trick to watching this movie is to have some patience.

I so wanted to enjoy this. It could have made for a great detective storyline with them being so popular on TV these days.Yes, there are beautiful girls and plenty of boobs and stocking tops on show for those boys going through puberty to enjoy but the blood scenes might prove a bit daunting for a 13 year oldI suppose it can be classed as a black comedy horror that even Ray Bradbury could not have thought of.I can't remember seeing another film where a woman is wearing a bra but no knickers.The film could have been a whole lot more but there is a moral to the story which will give disaffected husbands nightmares.I appreciate that these are modern times and the PC gang are out in full force; so many films and TV shows these days make men out to be weak and feeble and women so strong and dominant (ok, so there are men that like that sort of thing)but surely some sort of parity is needed.On the plus side, the end is not what you would normally predict to happen but I am sure there is no-one demanding a sequel anyway.The film is a bit short but more than adequate enough to pleasure the desires of many of it's viewers.This could have been a sensational detective drama. it just didn't work as a black comedy.

My problem with this is the Actress who plays Abby Russell. The actress who is playing a role of a seductive Nurse is I am sorry to say is1.Not pretty enough, I think the costume department and make up did her a dis-service here especially her hair, she is no Sharon stone. The allure of Basic Instinct is the looks and the allure Sharon gave the role. 2.Playing the role too Hammy, the dialogue sounded like she was either drunk or bored.The final act of the movie seemed rushed and botched, the HR Lady what happened to her ?The Shower scene as mentioned in the Boards, why are they still wearing their under garments, if there is a no Nudity clause then don't film the scene at all.Shame really good concept poorly executed.
