I like everything. I'm not picky and can usually find something good in an otherwise bad movie.
This however, is total garbage! Not only was it not scary, but nothing serious happened till like the last 20 minutes of the movie! Honestly, you could watch the last 20 minutes and underatand the whole plot without missing anything important. The only thing that even caught my interest at all was when the dog got hurt.
Not worth watching if you ask me.

This movie is unnecessary and boring. Also, whoever found this "found footage" is a dick: he cuts the interesting stuff, leaving us with this garbage. Ps: nothing happens until the last 20 min or something.

Half of the movie is recycling the night time camera activity. Water cleaner moves and in the morning it's out of the pool. Pans do a little wiggle and so on.The movie also has the thing that makes a low quality horror movie; a poor attempt at jump scare. Jump scares in general are lazy way to make a movie scarier but suddenly opening all closet doors may be the worst one I've ever seen. This is one of the few movies I've watched that ware so boring I can't watch in one sitting. Paranormal Activity is the Call of Duty of movies; surprisingly popular and extremely repetitive. When they used the "self-filmed" approach in the first movie it felt refreshing and new. The sequel is just riding on the back of the first film.I could see how this movie would get a good grade for a school project but for a 3-million-dollar movie this seems like a joke, even though 3 million dollars isn't much when talking about movies.

Paranormal Activity 2 (2010): Dir: Tod Williams / Cast: Sprague Greyden, Brian Bolden, Molly Ephraim, Katie Featherstone, Micah Slout: Worthwhile sequel that displays the same low budget technical intelligence as the original only adding a few new characters to the mix. Taking place prior to the first film, here a family moves in to a big house and have security camera installed after their home is ransacked but nothing stolen. This is all brought together by New director Tod Williams who heightens the suspense gradually as each night grows creepier through the camera. This is effective and works for independent film work without the use of computer graphics. While the first film was no gem, it was an effective breakthrough for fright fans. This sequel is more of the same and it has effective scare moments but it also deals with people who aren't thinking logically. Among the residence are Sprague Greyden and Brian Bolden with their baby Hunter and step-daughter, played by Molly Ephraim. Greyden and Ephrain already feel a presence that isn't right, and Bolden seems to find some sort of logic to conceal any concerns. Katie Featherstone returns as Greyden's sister who urges that any paranormal discussion be ceased. Featherstone is remembered as the female lead of the first film who is also haunted. Micah Slout is more prominently featured in the first film, but here in the prequel he is a reminder of what the future will hold. It seems to contain a better screenplay yet lacking the freshness of the original film, which took independent films to new lows. Score: 6 / 10
