Do not, I repeat, DO NOT be fooled by the title or synopsis here."Quest of the Delta Knights" may seem like, "Hey, cool!!!!! This movie rocks!!!!!," but in reality, it's "HEY!!!!! THIS MOVIE STINKS!!!!! BLEECH!!!!!" I mean, this movie is nothing but chock full of mistakes, goofs, continuity errors, plot holes, etc. I mean, would anybody, and I repeat, ANYBODY actually like this movie!!!!! I won't!!!!!Unless, of course, it's featured on "Mystery Science Theater 3000," as it was on episode #9.23. Mike and the Bots have done such a terrific job ripping this movie apart like a dog would rip apart a fancy $500 dress shoe, and the Minnesota-area participants that played the people in the Delta Knights Pancake Breakfast scene!!!!! That's amazing!!!!!So, pick which version you want to watch. If I were you, I'd pick MST3K!!!!!1/10

My daughter, May was watching this movie for the second time when I realized it felt familiar: It's Star Wars in the Middle Ages! Baydool is Obi Wan Kanobe. "Tee" is Luke etc.I found myself really enjoying the setting and the quest this young lad takes. Also appreciated the cameo by Richard Kind, a great comic actor. And check out Olivia Hussey, still gorgeous. I'm always appreciative of kids movies that give us parents some grown-up humor, something we can enjoy as well.So I give it 7 stars for us adults and maybe 8 for "tweeners".

James Dodson is a magician. Here, he has taken a fairly simple story and about a low budget and somehow managed, working both as producer and directer, to craft a beautiful, polished, splendid tale of enchantment, romance, and danger. The performances are strong, the visuals lovely, and the action breakneck. A strong recommend for children and families. Be sure to check out a particularly funny performance by Richard Kind, as the Wizard.

This is one of the worst MST3K'd movies ever, up there with "Prince of Space" and "Zaat" (which, of course, isn't a movie, but . . .).
The plot involves an annoying girly boy (Allred) who is attempts to free Europe from the Dark Ages. Also along for the ride are David Warner as the old guy (forget his name, was it Baydool?) who saves him AND the bad guy, Lord Voltaire (an 11th Century Darth Vader with eagle wings on his helmet), Brigid Conley-Walsh as the whore-princess Thena, David Kreig as a woosy Leonardo DaVinci, New Yorker Richard Kind (who doesn't even hide his accent) in cameo as a bumbling wizard who provides some REALLY lame comedy relief ("I'm no good with maps - I can't even find my way to the moat!" Har har), and Olivia Hussey (regardless of age, she's still gorgeous) in another cameo as a queen who has no bearing on the plot, and some guy who screams "I'm coming!" OVER AND OVER AND OVER like Cheech Marin. Throw in inconsistancies with the storyline and historical inaccuracies (see semi-automatic "pistols" of the 13th Century! And the army of pirates, sultans, Vikings, Jesters, et al Voltaire amasses!) and you've got yourself a really lame flick. Not the worst film ever, but then again, it has some pretty stiff competition. The MST3K version was good, if nothing special. Pearl in theater wasn't as funny as it probably should've been, but it worked. One star for "Quest of the Delta Knights"; Seven stars for the MST3K cover."I'M COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
