lisafordeay I got this a while back as I enjoyed its 2010 prequel Tinkerbell and The Great Fairy Rescue and I really found this one HIGHLY entertaining. Tinkerbell discovers another world where she's from called the winter valley and she decides to go check it out,but what she is about to discover are some secrets that no one told her about.... she really has another sister who is in fact her twin voiced by Lucy Hale called Periwinkle and the two discover the meaning of friendship and trust but one person in particular is not happy that Tinkerbell found her other half voiced by Timothy Dalton. So its up to Tinkerbell to show Periwinkle where she is from putting jeopardy at risk. The story is really cute and the animation is gorgeous.Overall I really liked this film and im giving it an 8/10Keep an eye out for the song Great Divide by The McClain Sisters. Its a nice song.
PoynterJuddFletcherJones I enjoyed this film quite a lot. It's a Disney film, and most people do enjoy Disney made films. This movie is about another one of Tinkerbell's adventures, where she finds a long lost sister in the Winter Lands. Where warm fairies cannot go.Yet, she breaks that rule, as she does with most other rules. And meets Perriwinkle.A winter fairy, who specialises in frost. They both create a bond rather quickly. And do show characteristics of two sisters.I loved this film, quite honestly because it's not something that has been done before. And every Tinkerbell film is like this.Thought to the younger viewers it may be a bit confusing on why we didn't see Perriwinkle in the first Tinkerbell film, where we see Tink born from the laugh. But other than that, the film is most enjoyable.
rscampb I saw this on TV so I missed out on the sound and feel of a Theater viewing. And I think that that is a sad thing. The graphics are great on the small screen so they must be amazing on the big.The story was very good, though (for grown-ups) a bit predictable. Basically Tinker Bell (a warm weather fairy) wants to cross the border to the winter realm, which is against the rules. Similarly a Winter Fairy wants to see the warm realm. When these two get together the typical Tinker Bell problems ensue requiring fairies from both realms to come together to fix.For the adults this is escapist entertainment with a mild political overtone. For the kids this is great entertainment with friendship, action, some adventure and just a touch of learning why we have rules. My only negative comment is the song that played in the background throughout the movie. It is something about dividing or a divide. I don't usually comment on an individual's talent if I cannot do a better job, but whoever was singing that song needs to quit. The voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard and extremely distracting.I would have given this movie a full 10 stars had it not been for the constant playing of that song.
Ashley Prettyglimmer I liked this movie a lot, it was cute, beautiful, and sweet. However, I couldn't enjoy the movie as much as I would've because of a big slip in a plot line: In the first movie, a snowflake talent fairy greets Tinkerbell with a snowflake, if that were to have been her talent. The pixie dust tree is a "warm" meadow, however, but the snowflake fairy was fine there. Also, Clank and Bobble show Tinkerbell around, and going through the winter woods, they had no problem. What happened to the minister of winter? Because I don't remember a "Lord Miliori" anywhere in that picture. The movie was good, just doesn't follow the other movies.
