guyzradio It looked like another Sheena/Xena/Amazonian adventure, complete with leather tutu. What it turned into dropped off the category of "mindless entertainment" into something I found painful to watch -- at different points, I wasn't sure it was the same movie. Anachronisms abound. The current score of 4.9 appears the result of ratings at both ends of the spectrum, and not much in the middle.

Alan Silverman I'm on the "it's so bad it's almost good" side. I caught part of it late at night years ago and it stuck with me. Parts are simply so weird they're wonderful. I remember some large guy on a white horse wearing a pink tutu. Did that really happen? And the werewolf dance. Fantastic. I also remember that at some point it gave up the ghost and was crappy after that. No matter. One good line can justify ones whole existence: "Your friend seems slightly overenthusiastic." "My friend's an asshole." This is for the person who claimed that "She" was worse than Plan 9 from Outer Space: Plan 9 was the most wretched thing I have ever watched. At one point I had to leave the room. It was during the "if this ping pong ball were the sun and that can of gasoline...." speech. Like Alex in "A Clockwork Orange" I may never recover. "She", on the other hand, has moments of inspired madness.

hunwulf For years Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer Space" has been ridiculed as the worst movie ever made. But now, thanks to innovations such as cable and home video, there have got to be dozens of movies worse than "Plan 9." "She" with Sandahl Bergman is the worst I've seen by far. Joe Bob Briggs was rendered speechless when this ran on "Monstervision." This is the TRUE "worst movie ever made."

revcoe1 The movie was not written for a mainstream audience, that should be obvious from the names of the primary male characters (What mainstream film would dare use Tom and Dick as names for major male charcters and then name a female character Hari?) The villans that the film's heroes encounter are also covered in humor factor (A large man should not wear a tutu... EVER... But the writers decided it would work for this film, and it did work.) Even the lines are blatantly aiming to make the audience laugh without trying (Who wouldn't laugh at: "Careful of my arms; they tend to fall off?" Especially when the man saying this line had the heroes cornered?)In spite of the humor though, the witers managed to slip in a love story, a decent adventure adventure story, and some very creative characters... This is great Post-Apocalyptic Fantasy/Humor film... I want to see more movies made like this...
